Happily will play zig-zag after Charlotte wins their first playoff game since returning in 2004 having lost 10 straight. I’ll give the Hornets credit for shooting 21-22 96% on free throws while Miami shot 19-30 for 63% but Charlotte only shot 43% each of their first two games and shot only 39% in the win. Miami for only the 2nd time since March 1st Miami shot UNDER 41% and prior to their last game NEVER shot under 38% in any game this season until Saturday when they shot 34%!! Miami bounces back!

Miami vs. Charlotte

The last contest was a very low scoring affair in which it saw Charlotte win its first playoff game in 14 years. It was a coming for Charlotte, a sense of excitement for a city that has not felt Basketball success in ages. Though they just enjoyed Football Success. This is a Miami team that was held to sub 90 points and that has to irritate a team that has great offensive firepower and it’s hard to sleep on Pat Riley’s team. Think about it, with Deng, Dragic, Whiteside and the young guns that they have, it is quite impressive that Riley has continued to make the moves necessary to make this city a Destination. And, with Wade leading the way given his leadership style, this team will come out very strong today. In fact, they likely win and could win going away, but rather than taking a side, let’s take the total here. With Kaminsky coming along in his last game as well, we expect the offensive flow to be much smoother in this contest and it should have the pace that the Heat like which is a more offensive flow and up and down game. The Over is 6-2 for the Heat following a straight up loss and the Over is 5-0 for the Hornets following a straight up win as well.

OKC Thunder vs. Dallas

Last two games have gone significantly over as the Thunder have had their way on the offensive end with their backs against the wall. And, they have come through with back to back covers in Dallas and the Over as well. Having said that, when Dallas has their backs against the Wall, they go to the Under and that should likely be the case here. This is a Dallas team that loves playing strong defense when their backs are against the walls and the road team has had sucecss in this series consistently. Take a look at Game 2 of this series, it went well under. This game will have Dallas fighting for their playoff lives and it will be a defensive dog fight which is just how Carlisle’s team will like it. This game could be a double-digit cover. We’ll know very early that the pace this game will take but we like this contest around 194.

The Clippers have to be furious. A sub 90 performance against the Blazers in a game they could have not played worse it seems. The Blazers could not have played better and they had a couple of breaks that went in their favor. From start to finish, look for Paul, Griffin and Jordan to take over as stars come out when its time to come out. This game will see a very focused Clipper team as Doc Rivers is one of the best at getting his guys up for important games dating back to the Boston Head Coach. He understands that if you give team hope, like the Hawks have done to the Celtics, it becomes a massive headache and dangerous. His team leads 2-1 in this series and have to put the gauntlet down here or else it becomes a tied series and a best of 3 series in which anything can happen. The Clippers show their playoff experience here and get it done on the road after a rare loss of late.

No Limit---Portland Portland did as expected in game 3 and looks to build on that effort. The Clippers defense had looked greatly improved since the playoffs begun until game 3 in which they lost. The Blazers weren’t close in either game in L.A. They lost the first game by 20 and the second by 19 and then turned it all round at home and won game 3. The Trail Blazers are a great home team. The Blazers were destroyed in both road games but returning home to one of the best home court''s in the NBA which was enough to turn the tables. I look for home court advantage come into the play and offensive hustle for the Blazers to dominate in game 4. It''s difficult to imagine that the Clippers will be able to play defense on the road tonight and will quickly give up that two game lead they had. I see them settling in this game with an average effort again and the Blazers getting the win in game four.

The Heat look flustered on the road and I just don’t think they will be able to cash in against this team tonight especially when the crowd gets into it.
