INDIAN COWBOY
3-Unit Play. #919. Take Kansas City -118 over Cleveland (Saturday @ 4:10pm est)
Yesterday we rolled with Cleveland who won 7-1 and today we roll with Kansas City to bounce-back behind Kennedy.
Kennedy is pitching well with his new ballclub as he is 3-2 with a 2.61 era thus far. Note that since coming over from
the Padres he has pitched well for his new ballclub putting together 4 of 5 quality starts and likely continues to pitch well here
against the Indians as they need a big win. Decent public fade to boot here as well and with the better pitcher, the decent fade
and the Royals needing a bounce-back, they get it done here likely.
3-Unit Play. #921. Take Oakland -110 over Baltimore (Saturday @ 7:05pmest) (THIS IS THE GAME 2 OF THE DOUBLE-HEADER)
Hahn pitches for Oakland today and note the Virginia Tech Alum likely pitches well here as he already held the Astros to just 3 hits in 6.2 innings
in his last outing. He has essentially put together 9 of 10 qualitys tarts dating back to last year and given Jiminez's inconsistency over his last few starts,
we roll with the more consistent pitcher here today, decent public fade and people will eventually come to realize how consistent and good Hahn is.
He will be a rising star like so many other bargain deal A's pitchers over the last decade. Oakland also has lost 4 straight contests and gets back on track
with a win today likely as well given that Jiminez is allowing nearly 2 baserunners per inning when you take into his consideration his hits and walks per start.
3-Unit Play. #927. Take Tampa Bay -127 over LA Angels (Saturday @ 9:05pm est)
We roll with Tampa Bay here as they hook up with the Angels. The Rays have won back to back games including 5-2 over the Angels yesterday.
They look to keep rolling with a win today behind Odorizzi. He has gone 12 innings and given pu 2 runs in his last two starts to his credit.
He has put together 3 of 4 quality starts, has given up a opponents on base percentage of .295 overall and has a 3.12 era and is still looking for his first win.
Combine that with Weaver giving up 11 runs and 20 hits in his last two starts and it sets up with the more consistent pitcher likely doing well today.
Note, Weaver is 5-5 lifetime against Tampa Bay and Odorizzi likely picks up his first win of the season and his first win of his career against the Angels today as well.
