8-Unit Play. Take #656 Minnesota (-12.5) over Indiana (8 p.m., Tuesday, June 14)
The Lynx have a chance to set a WNBA record with a win over their finals opponent from a year ago. Minnesota has not taken a loss yet and at 10-0 are one game from getting in the record book for most consecutive games won to start a season. Their closest game this season was against this Fever squad as they held them off 74-71 last month, but it took a monumental second half from Indiana to get that close. The Fever outscored the defending champs 44-24 after a 29-6 first quarter had them in a huge hole. The Lynx let up in that game and allowed this young Indiana team to scrap their way back into it so with that on the mind of Maya Moore and company this game could get out of hand and stay that way. Moore is sitting on the throne of the league and has been for the better part of the last 5 years. She is the best all around player in the game and has showcased those talents so far this season with 20 points per game to go along with 4.9 helpers an 4.8 rebounds. The way this Minnesota team is playing it seems like they have a goal in mind to win every game they play this season and while that may not be realistic number 11 will happen tonight. Take the Lynx to cover the spread with little trouble and move into the WNBA record books.
