Saturday's Selection ...
For Saturday, 2000♦ Double-Your-Wager winner is Baltimore with Gallardo over L.A. Angels with Tropeano. At 2:30 am eastern time, the Orioles are -130 both in Vegas and offshore. Note: Both listed pitchers must start, or NO ACTION on this release.
The O's came back home off of Wednesday's 14 inning affair at Dodger Stadium, and looked a little sluggish on Friday night, as the Angels were able to run their winning streak to 4 straight with the 6-2 series opening win.
Look for Balitmore to even things up in this weekend set, as Nck Tropeano and Yovani Gallardo take the pearl to the hill and do some hurling. Both sport similar marks - Tropeano 3-2, Gallardo 3-1, but Gallardo's ERA is definitely higher than his counterpart.
That's OK for today, as I see the Orioles getting their "sea legs" under them now that they have shaken off the west coast trip they just came back from, as the Birds sock the ball today against Tropeano.
