For Saturday, 2500♦ MLB Game of My Career is Philadelphia with Eickhoff over the N.Y. Mets with Verrett. At 2:00 am eastern time, the Phillies are -105 in Vegas and offshore. Note: Both listed pitchers must start, or NO ACTION on this release.
Gave you the Mets on Friday, but will jump ship on them here on Saturday, as I feel the Phillies have the pitching edge with Jerad Eickhoff taking the hill against Logan Verrett.
The Mets rotation is a tattered right now, and while Bartolo Colon gave them enough to get by on Friday, I doubt Verrett can do the same on Saturday.
Verrett is 0-4 with a 9.33 ERA his last 4 season starts, and will be facing a Phillies team that is still a positive 10-4 even after Friday's series opening loss.
Jerad Eickhoff was hit hard just before the break against the Rockies, but in his 7 starts prior was 4-2 with a 2.25 ERA.
I say the Phillies get the bats working in this spot, and that Eickhoff returns to form after the long break and keeps the Mets bats quiet.
Roll with the Phillies to even the weekend series.
Note: Both listed pitchers must start, or NO ACTION on this release.
Saturday Note
The beat goes on...

7-Unit Play. #307. Take Under 50 Briish Columbia vs. Saskatchewan (Saturday @ 7pm est)
We roll with the Under here as these two teams hook up in what is likely an Under as the total is at an even 50. Though you could probably get a higher line if you hang tight closer to gametime. you could definitely get 50.5 as we already see it in 1 sportsbook. Per this game, remember, the last time these two teams met BC routed Saskatchewan 46-20 in a game that had a total set at 51. Ironically, today's game is set at around that line at 50. Note, that BC has won the last 3 contests as well between these two teams. With British Columbia coming off a 14-25 loss against Toronto, a game in which they were favored by -6.5 it sets up for a great opportunity here for them to bounce-back on the defensive end. Remember, this is a team that beat Hamilton 28-3 on the road as 5.5 point underdogs, beat Calgary 20-18 as a small underdog of 2.5 points and now comes off a game where they end up giving up 25 points - more than their last two games. Saskatchewan has lost its first two games and without a doubt, they will look to shore up their defense after giving up more than 30 points in their first two games and consequently we like the Under here for all these reasons. You have a BC team irritated after a loss and looks to bounce-back on their strength which is defense, you have Saskatchewan looking to avoid giving up 40+ points like they did the last time they met or 30 points like their first two games of the year. Hence, we have this game around 24-21 in favor of BC but more importantly, we like this game likely going under the posted total.
