For Sunday, 2500♦ MLB Game of My Career is Texas with Hamels over Chicago with Lackey. At 1:00 am eastern time, the Rangers are +125 in Vegas and offshore. Note: Both listed pitchers must start, or NO ACTION on this release.
Gave you a 500♦ Pay-After Winner on the Cubs on Saturday, but I am jumping on the Rangers here today to avoid the sweep with Cole Hamels on the mound.
It's real simple, this is a battle between a pair of teams that could very well meet again in October, and I don't think the Cubs are winning ALL 3 games at Wrigley Field this weekend.
It was nearly one year ago to the day that then Phillies hurler Cole Hamels pitched a no-hitter on the North Side against the Cubbies!
Remember that prior to the All-Star Break, the Cubs had been in a serious tailspin. With the series already secured, have to believe Hamels pitches another gem, and the Rangers avoid the ugly 3 game sweep.
