There’s evidence to suggest that the original MLB system never lost in April from 2006 to 2013 because all the revenge games occurred within a short time window. Small loss on Houston who were caught in a close one. I recommend taking them again with Doug Fister coming off a 4 hit performance in 7 innings in a shut out win over Oakland in his last start compared to CC Sabathia who is giving up 4 or more runs in his last 6 turns. I also believe the Cubs with Hendricks serves as their best shot to come away with a win off a pitcher who is 5-0 with a 0.72 ERA over his last six starts. The odds are too high for a moneyline pick there so take the -1. Finally, we look at the Red Sox who send out Steven Wright who has won 9 of 10 decisions and leads the AL in ERA against the Tigers who only average 3.3 runs a game. At 22 away games to 6 home games following this homestand, the Red Sox can't afford to lose again today. The line on them is large but we can stomach a smaller play on them at the -1 as long as we keep the wager lower than the other 2 bets.
