Last night we hit are 7-Unit plus money run-line play with Cleveland and early evening we go for 7-Straight baseball winners. This play comes out of Dodgers Stadium as the LA Dodgers look for the weekend series win over division rivals Arizona. This run-line play is all on the starting pitchers today as the Dodgers are throwing out Bud Norris who has pitched well in Dodgers Stadium and beat the Snakes in Arizona earlier in the month 13-7. Arizona is throwing out Patrick Corbin and in his last 3 starts he is 0-2 (D-Backs 0-3) with an ERA 7.98. Last night the snakes bit the Dodgers winning 4-2 but today I see Bud Norris and the Dodgers bats getting revenge and we cash back-to-back run-line tickets. Arizona is 1-6 following a win and the D-Backs are 3-11 in their last 14 road games. Dodgers are 4-0 following a loss and the Dodgers are 23-8 in their last 31 home games.

7-Unit Play. Take #974 Minnesota -1.5 +155 over Chicago White Sox (Sunday, July 31 at 2:10 p.m)
I have done a lot of research and watched a lot of baseball over the past two weeks. One of the things that stood out the most to me was the inept offense of the White Sox. This team will really struggle to score runs down the stretch and today will be one of those days. They have scored a grand total of 32 runs in their last 10 games and that includes a "breakout" perfomance yesterday that saw them score 6 runs. They did that vs. the lefty Millone but today they face Ervin Santana. Santana is just 3-9 on the year but he has an era of 3.78. In his last three starts, his era is even better at 2.53. He should have very few problems shutting down this inept Chicago offense today.
The Sox counter with Carlos Rodon. Rodon isn't a very good pitcher and it has showed most of the year. He is 2-7 with a 4.50 era overall and 0-1 with a whopping 6.06 era in his last three starts. Most of that damage was done in his last outing that saw the woeful Yankees' offense pound him for 12 hits and 5 earned runs in just 5.0 innings of work. I have watched the Twins very closely as of late and I like the way the top of their lineup is producing. The bottom of the lineup still has some work to do but they have some very capable hitters in the first 6 slots. Buxton does provide them with some speed at the bottom of the lineup and when he is able to get on base, he provides an extra lead-off batter for the top of the lineup to drive in. The Twins faced Rodon a month ago (on June 30th) and they scored 4 earned runs in just 5.2 innings. Dozier and Grossman touched him up for home runs.
It's get-a-way day in Minnesota and the home team has the pitching and hitting advantage. I look for the Twins to score early runs vs. Rodon and cruise to an easy victory.

It is no big secret that the Orioles are struggling to score runs right now. If you follow baseball at all, you understand that. They have scored a grand total of 12 runs in their last five games. However, they should get some good at-bats vs. Sanchez today. He has faced the O's twice this year. He was great in Baltimore and terrible in Toronto. In the home outing, he allowed a whopping 10 hits and 6 earned runs in 5 innings pitched. I don't see "this" Orioles' offense having that kind of success but they should certainly have some decent at-bats vs. Sanchez. The problem for Baltimore is that the Blue Jays love facing Tillman in Toronto. They have faced him three times at home in the past 15 months and they have destroyed him each time. In fact, he pitched a total of 8.2 innings in those three starts and allowed 19 hits and 19 earned runs. WOW. Those numbers aren't even close to the numbers he has against the rest of the league or even against Toronto when he faces them in Baltimore. But, he struggles mightily in Toronto. I look for that to continue today as the Blue Jays are back to their old ways of hitting. They have scored 26 runs in their past four games including 15 in the first two games of this series vs. their AL East rival.
Baltimore should score some runs but it won't be nearly enough as the Blue Jays' offense is red hot and they love facing Tillman at home.
