Analysis: Too many points. The Cowboys might show a record of 2-1 but in reality in the football world everyone knows they are truly a 3-0 ball club. No offense to Central Michigan but it is what it is. They rebounded with an impressive win last week against a underrated Pitt Panthers club. I see these two clubs as basically even or even Gundy's Cowboys being the better team. And we are catching these points. The Bears don't look like the same since Coach Briles was shown the door. I'd say Mason Rudolph is licking his chops at an opportunity to expose this Baylor secondary. Plus there is the no small issue of payback here. Better Baylor teams have knocked off the Cowboys the past two seasons. But the stubborn fact is this guys, Oklahoma State has covered the number in a stellar eight of the last ten games. Baylor might win this thing in the end but I fully expect an up and down the field battle with the game still very, very much in question come crunch time. We will be very glad to have the generous points in our pockets. I am going triple star rabid dog here on the Cowboys.

Weird shit can and does happen fellas. Last week with Bama was the poster child for bad beats. It also reinforces why I harp on money management. If some idiot tries to talk you into a lock, please just laugh and walk away. If you get a call from some service claiming inside information ple…ase just hang up the phone. Each week in this space, I select an underdog of 7 or more points, whom I feel has the ability to take the game to the final whistle, if not win the game outright. Today, we use the Florida Gators, a team who is an 11-0 SU series dominator and who is allowing fewer points (4.7 PPG) than they are getting on the betting line today. That’s clearly a Defensive Dandy supreme! Many will shy away from this game because of the absence of 1st year Florida QB Del Rio (knee), who was injured last game and is expected to miss today’s action. Stepping up in his absence is former Purdue grad transfer, QB Appleby, who has 12 starts under his belt for the Boilermakers and who filled in admirably after Del Rio got injured last week. Tennessee remains one of the more overrated teams on the CFB landscape, despite their 3-0 SU record. They were life and death with App St. before surviving, trailed VA Tech 14-0 before rallying then showed a lethargic performance against Ohio last week in a 28-19 win (no cover) as 27 point chalk. The offense is a major issue, averaging just 351 YPG against a trio of stop units, who were nowhere near the quality of these Gators. A must play BIG DOG OF THE WEEK against Tennessee and 4th year HC Butch Jones, who is 4-10 ATS as home chalk.
