In a one game playoff with winner take all there is no pitcher I would rather have on the mound than Madison Bumgarner. The guy has just been pure money when it comes to big games. The Giants in the first game of a playoff series are 13-3. Now I realize this isn’t a series it’s a one game play in game but that stat shows that San Francisco is clutch when it comes to the playoffs. The Giants were another team that had to win their way in as a few weeks it looked like the Giants were about to have one of the biggest collapses in recent baseball history. But they won 5 of their last 6 including sweeping the Dodgers in the final 3 games of the season to hold off St Louis for the final playoff spot. Having one of the best Big Game pitchers on the mound, past playoff success and momentum puts me on the Giants tonight in the NL Wildcard game. My numbers have San Francisco winning 4-2.
