"2 UNIT" PRIMETIME LINETRACKER SIDE (Iowa +6' at Penn State in a 7:35 eastern kickoff televised on Big 10 Network): As of late Saturday morning in the eastern zone there has been literally NO offshore line inflation for this affair which to me speaks volumes. Not only is Penn State coming off a resounding 62-24 last weekend on the road, the last "home" game was a memorable comeback (and outright upset) versus Ohio State in a contest that received national ABC primetime visibility. One of the factors is that visiting Iowa has won a school record NINE in a row "outright" on the ROAD and also playing their best football of the campaign as we wind into the final month. Dating all the way back to the 1992 campaign after consecutive games with a POSITIVE TURNOVER MARGIN (plus-one or better) Iowa has gone an impressive 20-8 ATS in ROAD setups like tonight. On the flipside after playing their prior game on the highway Penn State is a disastrous 0-6 ATS the following week. There is also "negative" news as Penn State has been slapped with a record $2.4 million fine for failing to report crimes or warn the public regarding the Jerry Sandusky case which continues to dog the school
