7-Unit Play. #738. Take Wisconsin -13 over Tennessee (Monday @ 2:30pm est)

We roll with Wisconsin here as the heavy favorite against Tennessee. And, though it would seem exciting to take the Vols here as a power 5 team getting points against Wisconsin, note, that the Badgers could win this game in a blowout. The Baders are a top 10 power ranking team and could not have played worse in their last game against Chicago State, a team outside the top 300 in the nation and a game they won by just 18 points. There wasn't even a line made for that game to just tell you the blowout that was expected. They also lost to Creighton their only challenge of the year by 12 points on the road. This team needs a statement win against a quality opponent and why not against a big name like Tennessee who is a bit down on talent this year. This is a Vol team that lost on opening night to Chattanooga (a 3u selection for us on the over and we picked Chattanooga as our daily video comp selection). This is a team that beat App State by 9 points, a team outside the top 280. Tennessee is outside the top 160 on defense and outside the top 175 in turnover percentage. We like the fact that both these teams are 2-1 and Wisconsin will use the fact that this is an SEC school to their motivation and could bring down the hammer here. The Vols are 1-8-1 ATS following a straight up, the eyes are on Greg Gard in his 2nd year after his team went to the Sweet 16 last year and the Badgers are 7-3-1 ATS against SEC foes.

Keep an eye on Houston. They played terribly in their last game against a non-division 1 opponent. UNC always seems to beat Chaminade by historically at least 40 points. Tennesse might get blown out at Wisconsin b/c Wisconsin did not play well against Chicago State a team outside the top 300 in their last game.
