Colorado is a perfect 6-0 at home and is looking for the big win today to win the PAC-12 South. The Colorado QB, Sefo Liufau, was spot on against Wazzu last week and destroys defenses with both his arm and legs. He completed 27-of-41 passes for 345 yards and ran 23 times to pick up 108 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Equally as impressive is the Buffaloes defense. The Buffaloes are allowing 18.5 points per game, which ranks them No. 13 in scoring defense in the nation. Keep in mind that defense is rarely a mainstay when thinking of the PAC-12. Liufau is going to dominate in this one. He can hurt the Utes from the pocket and on the run, and he’ll do both this Saturday. Liufau will run for a couple touchdowns and throw for two more. Phillip Lindsay will be right there with him, as he’ll run for more than 100 yards and a couple touchdowns. With its loss last week, Utah’s Pac-12 South dreams have vanished while Colorado can take the title with a win on Saturday.

New Mexico is 4-1 at home and should improve today by beating Wyoming who may be unable to go on the road, re-focus after their big upset win last week against San Diego St 34-33. The game plan is set for back and forth hard nose football. Neither team sports anyone that dominates the field or headlines. First advantage to look for are the special teams that can be the difference maker. New Mexico wins that battle. Jason Sanders has made all 51 extra point attempts and 11-of-12 field goals. Secondly, New Mexico has the nations number one ground game. The Lobo ground game will roar against a banged up and depleted Wyoming defensive line, doing what it always does and control the clock throughout. Wyoming will never get comfortable as New Mexico grinds out big drive after big drive. They are churning out 342.1 yards per game on the ground, more than 13 yards better than any other team in the country.
