The Cardinals have absolutely no room for error as their hopes of reaching the postseason for a third consecutive season continue to fade. One good thing going for the Cardinals is the continued torrid play of second-year running back David Johnson, who leads the league in yards from scrimmage and has recorded 13 touchdowns for the second straight year. The Redskins' offense will be going against an Arizona defense that is allowing just 294 yards per game and is allowing 195.1 passing yards per game. The Cardinals seem suited to at least slowing Washington's passing attack. After all, they rank second in the league in fewest passing yards allowed and have generally held tight ends in check. The Cardinals have lost their past two games. In Arians’ three-plus seasons, the Cardinals have never lost three consecutive games and they are unbeaten (2-0-1) in their past three games at home. The Cardinals know they have to get pressure on Kirk Cousins, not let him escape the pocket and make throws on the run or get outside and pick up yardage on his own. The Redskins have been losing a lot of close games on the road recently, and they are going against the league's best dual-threat running back and a defense that has been good at home. Cardinals QB Carson Palmer passed for 250 yards and two TDs in the last meeting. He has thrown for 300 yards in two straight games.

The Raiders (9-2) are having a magical season and should make it to the playoffs. As for the Bills (6-5), their playoff hopes are hanging by a thread and they desperately need to defeat the Raiders to remain firmly in the conversation. They have what it takes if they play to their strengths. The Bills have to find a way to limit Oakland’s explosive plays, and their league-best pass rush is going to be vital as they must make Carr uncomfortable. The Bills are averaging 25 points per game and have scored at least 25 points in eight of their 11 games. If the Bills continue to protect the ball the way they have, they will have a chance to do some damage on offense because the Raiders’ defense is not stout. It ranks last in yards allowed per play, 31st in sacks, 23rd in points allowed and 29th in yards allowed. Buffalo has won two in a row following a three-game losing streak. The Bills have been depleted by injuries and suspensions throughout the season, but are starting to get key players back healthy. Sammy Watkins is expected to play, and LeSean McCoy is healthy and could be primed for a big day against a defense that allows 4.6 yards per rushing attempt. This has the makings of a shootout with the Bills more than capable of the outright upset.
