triple-dime bet
122 TAM -2.5 (-120) Greek vs 121 NOS Analysis: Some books have -2.5 - some might, and some never will. I'd wait for the ML if you made me. I think the only reason this line is as short as it is is because it's "The Saints and Drew Brees" - because clearly there's some public value to that. To be honest I've almost blindly faded the Saints, outdoors and on grass, forever. They're just slower. Now add that to the fact that the Lions just showed the world who the Saints really are, and we've got a GOY. Don't look now but if the season ended today Tampa Bay would be in the playoffs, and the Saints have lost three of four with their only wins coming over the Rams and 49ers when Ingram was able to run wild. The Bucs have been able to win four straight WITHOUT a 100+ yard runner. The Bucs are not far behind the Saints in third down conversion percentage, and over the last three games have the third best % in the NFL. They beat the Saints in New Orleans last season (early) and then lost to them 24-17 la¼te, in a game where the Saints had the ball for 37 minutes - and the Bucs still only lost by one score. The Saints are now two full games behind the Bucs AND the Falcons, so Tampa Bay also knows they can all but end the Saints' season Sunday. Of course the Saints are a desperate team, but at the same time they've BEEN desperate for several weeks, and at home. Total motivation to the Bucs here, who have lost 8 of 9 to New Orleans. The Saints have the leagues' 30th worst scoring defense, and as I've said many times, defense travels, not offense. More later on this.Comment
