It's a make or break game for last years Super Bowl Champions. A whole lot of pride goes into a must win game like this as the Broncos have their backs to the wall. The perception seems that the offense has been outperforming the defense. They need both to work to pull the upset. Trevor Siemian, is showing promise as a passer, helped by playmaking wide receivers Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders. The Broncos problems have been running the ball after losing CJ Anderson. This has caused problems for Denver's vaunted defense by having to be on the field for longer periods of time getting over-worked and under more sustained pressure. Defensively, the Patriots will keep a keen eye on pass-rushing linebacker Von Miller, who made life miserable for Brady in the teams' last meeting. The Broncos may be helped out be some injuries on the Pats offense. Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola is out this week because of an ankle injury. Tight end Martellus Bennett also had some restrictions in practice this week because of ankle and shoulder issues. This game belongs to Denver's defense as there is no question the Broncos' defense will again try to zero in on Brady, who was sacked five times and hit on numerous other occasions in Denver's AFC title-game win last January. This is in reality, the Broncos title game.
______________________ Pinnacle--Cincinnati + ***NFL Underdog of Year
The road definitely gets tougher for Cincinnati with Sunday's home game against Bell and the Steelers. After going winless in November, Cincinnati has won two straight games to have just a small chance at the playoffs with three games to play. It may be left up to Jeremy Hill running the ball for 125 yards to win this game. The Steelers are missing Cameron Heyward, their best defensive lineman which is bonus time for Hill. Andy Falton needs to open up the passing and may have his star receiver back. AJ Green practiced on Wednesday and is listed as a game time decision. But the Bengals attention will be on their own defense in this game. The Cincinnati defense has held its last four opponents to under 15 points per game. Pacman Jones will be ready to go all in as his ankle is ok. The Steelers have won four in a road and this is their second game in a row on the road playing a huge rival and laying points. Bengals win.
