Rules to the NBA “Comeback” Betting SystemWe will only be betting on the road teams in the NBA "Comeback" Betting Systembecause historically, NBA road teams have always generated higher value bets.Therefore, the initial filters to potentially qualify bets for the NBA "Comeback" BettingSystem are:1. The team must be a team that's playing on the road (the away team)2. The team must come into halftime trailing by exactly 1 point.If the above two conditions are met, then a bet may qualify for play. To qualify a bet forplay, refer to the conditions below:1. Bet 1 unit if the 2nd half point spread falls anywhere from 0 to +3.5: The 2nd halfpoint spread is otherwise known as the halftime point spread. The team must feel thatthey are slight underdogs in order to correlate with the fact that they are down byexactly 1 point at halftime. A team that's a favorite will feel that they are already moretalented than the other team, and therefore is unlikely to try as hard. On the other hand,a team that's a huge underdog may feel that they are too outmatched, and thus may nothave as much motivation to exert as much effort in the second half. A team that's downby exactly 1 point, and whose 2nd half point spread is anywhere from 0 to +3.5, is in aperfect situation to feel that they can come back from the 1-point deficit by exertinggreater effort in the 2nd half. The maximum spread qualification of +3.5 is derived fromtaking 7, the most common margin of victory in the NBA, and dividing it into 2 to signifyone half of the game. This ensures that the team we're betting on is reasonably talentedenough relative to their opponent.2. Bet 1 unit if the game is played between teams of the opposite conference:Historically, NBA road teams have always performed better against opponents from theopposite conference. A bet can qualify if it is an Eastern conference team playingagainst a Western conference team or a Western conference team playing against anEastern conference team. The idea of a road team playing against an opponent fromthe opposite conference has been a staple in my Original NBA Betting system that hascontinued to dominate for decades! If condition #2 is satisfied, then bet 1 additional unit if the team is also anunderdog: If the team qualifies based on condition #2, then bet another additional unitif the team is an underdog. A team with a negative pointspread is not an underdog. A point spread of 0 (otherwise known as Pick Em) is definedin this system as an underdog. For example, if the halftime point spread for your team is-2 then that's not an underdog. A halftime point spread of 2 signifies an underdogbecause it is a positive number.Whenever a bet qualifies, always bet on the 2nd half point spread, otherwiseknown as the halftime point spread. Rather than betting on a team to win (halftimemoney line), you should bet on the halftime point spread. This means that as long asyour team covers the point spread in the 2nd half, you'll win your wager.Betting on the halftime point spread means that all the points scored in the 1st half willmake no difference to the result of your bet. Only points scored in the 2nd half arecounted toward the result of your wager.If a team qualifies for only 1 out of the 3 conditions above, then bet 1 unit on that teamto cover the 2nd half point spread. If the team qualifies for 2 out of the 3 conditions, thenbet 2 units on them. If the team qualifies for all 3 conditions above, then bet 3 units onthem.That's all there is to it!
