Both teams have lost their last pair of games, as the Tigers are off losses to Notre Dame and North Carolina, while the Yellow Jackets have been downed by Duke and Louisville.


I would think that since the Techsters haven't really been close in either loss, coach Josh Pastner will be looking at least for a competitive effort from his charges this Thursday night at home.


Clemson has struggled of late in this matchup, as the Tigers have lost the last pair of meetings, and have dropped 3 of the last 5 series showdowns overall.


More likely that Clemson ends their losing skid before Georgia Tech does, but this impost is too many -- especially on the road.

We roll with Boston here as they have revenge against Nashville from losing 0-2 to this team the last time they faced them. And, note that Boston has lost back to back games to Nashville and this team looks to avoid losing 3 straight to Nashville and one team has not lost 3 straight in this series more than the last 10 times they have faced them. This team comes off an imperssive 5-3 win over St. Louis in a game where they were an underdog in and with revenge and playing relatively well, they likely pick up the win today. Note, Nashville comes off a 2-1 win over Vancouver but has not won back to back games in quite some time and this is likely a tough spot for them as they face a motivated Boston team. Bruins are 5-1 in their last 6 games playing on 1 day of rest and Predators are 1-7 in their last 8 games following a win.




4-Unit Play. #509. Take Dallas -2 over Phoenix (Thursday @ 10:05pm est) (Currently -1.5 at CG Technology)
We roll with Dallas here as they have a good deal of revenge against Phoenix a team they lost to 95-102 earlier this month. Losing by 7 points to a team that this squad was favored against definitely will get them motivated against Phoenix. And, we think Phoenix will still be hungover from the near defeat of Cleveland and will not be looking to play the lowly Mavs. With the Mavs having revenge and coming off a pair of losses, they will be motivated here to play well. Don't get too high on the Suns after the Cavs performance, in the NBA given the parity of the league, it all depends on motivation as it plays a big role. The Mavs will be more than motivated to play this team who they lost to just 3 games ago. The Suns are 3-13-1 ATS in their last 17 games against the Western Conference.



4-Unit Play. #515. Take Clemson -9.5 over Georgia Tech (Thursday @ 7pm est)
Our Research yields Clemson over Georgia Tech today as we feel that this Clemson team who was knocked out of the ACC Tournament by Georgia Tech, will exact its revenge today. The only reason it is not a step-out is simply because Georgia Tech does come off back to back conference losses and they only lost by 15 points to Louisville who is an elite team. Plus, Clemson comes off the heartbreaking loss to Notre Dame on the road and we like them to be highly motivated and focused coming into today for a monumental win. This is a team that went on the road to beat Wake Forrest by 5 and Alabama in semi-away game by 13 points so it is not a far cry to think this team will not win this game by double-digits coming off back to back losses to UNC and Notre Dame by a combined 8 points. This team knows that if they can simply go .500 in ACC Play they will get into the Dance so this game is important. Georgia Tech is outside the top 250 in offense and outside the top 280 in turnover margin and they face a very competent Clemson Defense which will make it tough on them today. We like Clemson to be focused coming off a pair of losses and revenge and likely gets it done away from home today.
