7-Unit Play. Take #509 Cleveland (-6.5) over New York (8:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4)
We know the Cavs aren't playing that hot but everything will work itself out tonight at the Garden. Yes, it's a home game for the Knicks but this crowd will turn at the drop of a hat. Rose is hurt, Porzingas hasn't been consistent, and the fans hate Carmelo. The Knicks may keep it close for a bit but the Cavs will pull away in the fourth for an easy cover. Cleveland has just too many options offensively and the Knicks won't be able to respond. Carmelo holds the ball just too long on the offensive end of the floor. The akmicks will have little cohesion tonight. The Cavs are rested and ready to show a national TV audience they are still the best team in the East. Cleveland is 10-4-1 ATS in their last 15 games when playing on two days rest while the Knicks are just 1-5 ATS in their last six games following a straight up win. Take the road team here.
