For Sunday, 2000♦ Double-Your-Wager winner is Boston as the road favorite against Phoenix. At 10:05 pm eastern time on Saturday, the Celtics are the -6 point favorites in Vegas and offshore.
No issue laying the road wood with the playoff-bound, and superior-coached Boston Celtics in their road game at Phoenix this Sunday mid-afternoon.
For one thing, the C's have won and covered the last 3 series meetings with the Suns, and Boston does enter this second game of a five game road swing with the easy win and cover at Staples Center over the Lakers on Friday. That win moved Boston to 11-2 straight up their last 13 versus the Western Conference, and 8-2 against the spread their last 10 on the road against the West.
Phoenix has pieced together 2 wins and covers in a row - both coming at home, but the Suns are only 11-17 straight up at home this year, and have no hope of sniffing the postseason this year.
Boston meanwhile, is trying to track down Cleveland for the top spot in the East come playoff time.
This is another winnable game for the Celts, and I expect them to both win it and cover it on the road today!Comment
