For Tuesday, Raise The Bar 1500♦ is Georgia Tech as the small home underdog against Indiana. At 8:45 am eastern time, the Yellow Jackets are +4 point dogs both in Vegas and offshore. Update: As of 3:35 pm eastern, the line is down to +3.
Going to take Tech's 15-4 strong home court - regular season wins over Big Dance participants Notre Dame, Florida State and North Carolina - out for a spin tonight against an Indiana team that went just 4-11 straight up on the road.
Indiana coach Tom Crean has taken plenty of heat this season, as the Hoosiers could only muster an 18-15 mark this year, and while injuries certainly have hampered Indy's chances at making the Big Dance, I just don't see the Hoosiers getting up for the road win tonight in Atlanta.
The Hoosiers went just 4-9 straight up down the stretch, and did fail 2 of 3 in that span when listed as the chalk.
Based on those numbers, I am a little stunned Indiana is favored in this game. If this is a "trap" being set, I guess I am all-in!
