And after winning the first game in this series last night behind Danny Salazar I think they are going to fall back today. Josh Tomlin is on the mound for the Indians and he has been terrible in both of his starts. He allowed six runs in five innings in Arizona and then allowed seven runs in two innings against the White Sox. Going back to last year Tomlin has allowed 19 runs in his last eight innings of work. Phil Hughes has won both of his starts this season and is 4-0 in his last four outings. Take the Twins.
2-Unit Play. Take #917 Detroit (+105) over Tampa Bay (7 p.m., Tuesday, April 18)
The Tigers have dominated the Rays. They have won six straight in this series and are 8-2 in their last 10 against them. They have won their last five games down in Tampa Bay. Last year's rookie of the year, Michael Fulmer, is on the mound for the Tigers today. Detroit is 10-4 in his last 14 road starts and is 20-6 in his last 26 starts overall. Fulmer is 5-0 when he gets extra rest and 6-1 against a team with a losing record. Tampa Bay is going with Andriese and he has lost five of his last seven home starts and is just 4-10 in his last 14 starts overall. The wrong team is favored in this game and I will take advantage.
