The Indians fit a powerful 81% system that pertains to teams off a -200 or higher home favored loss scoring 2 or less runs vs a team off a road dog win like Seattle. Cleveland is 7-2 vs A.L. West teams and has a solid 1.78 bullpen Era. They have Salazar going and he is 13-4 as a home favorite and was solid going 7 strong allowing 2 runs here last out vs Seattle. The Mariners counter with Gallardo who has a 4.76 Era this year and is 1-3 in April road starts. The Mariners are 2-8 on the road vs rightys and are 1-5 on Saturdays. They have allowed the 2nd most runs in the league thus far and have a road bullpen Era over 7. Look for Cleveland to win this one. 6-Unit Play. #970. Take Detroit Tigers -160 over Chicago Whitesox (Saturday @ 1:10pm est)
We could have made it a bigger selection but the juice is a bit high so we went with a 6-Unit Selection similar to yesterday's winner on the Giants over the Padres. We look for 9 of 13 winning days and hopefully to move to 11-5 over the last 2+ Weeks for +$3044. Per this game, you have a Tigers team that has lost 3 straight and they need to bounce-back. They have scored just 4 runs in their last 3 games and they come off a 3-7 loss at home to the Whitesox in their last game. This team is irritated at 3 straight losses and coming off a 4 run loss in yesterday's game. Plus, this team is at .500 and just 1 win away from having the same number of wins at the top of their division. Minnesota, Detroit, Cleveland and the White Sox all have at least 11 or 12 wins and are in a logjam early in teh season. Per this game, we like the Tigers on the bounce-back and to get their bats back on track here against Holland. Holland comes off a fantastic start against the Indians. In fact, in 2 starts against Cleveland he gave up 4 hits and 1 run in 12 innings. However, though he has a 1.99era for his new team, his last two years have been eras of 4.95 and 4.91. We suspect he will have a regression to the mean. Plus, you have a pitcher in Fulmer who will want to step up for his ballclub after 3 straight losses and will get up to face a divsion rival. Note, the Tigers are 6-1 when Norris faces an AL Central Rival and 4-0 when Norris starst on 4 days of rest.
