The Dodgers are heating up and this price is a bargain. They've won the first two games of this series by a combined score of 18-4 and have beaten the Padres four straight by a combined score of 31-7. This series is a mismatch. Brandon McCarthy has been keeping the ball down and he has won four of his five starts this year while posting just a 3.10 ERA. With a powerful lineup behind him I think McCarthy will be just good enough to get another win.

Both pitchers are struggling and I think that both lineups are due for a breakout.

Two teams that have been trending to the over will meet when the Miami Marlins take on the New York Mets at Citi Field in New York, NY on Sunday afternoon. Jose Urena (0-0, 2.35 ERA, 1.37 WHIP) will get the start for the Marlins and he will be opposed by Adam Wilk, who will now go for the Mets after the team suspended Matt Harvey this morning. The Colorado Rockies will look for their fourth win in their last five games when they take on the Arizona Diamondbacks at Coors Field in Denver, CO on Sunday afternoon. Tyler Chatwood (2-4, 5.40 ERA, 1.36 WHIP) will get the start for the Rockies and he will be opposed by Taijuan Walker (3-1, 4.19 ERA, 1.28 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Diamondbacks. Colorado has posted a 4-1 record in their last five home games when facing a team with a losing record on the road and they have gone an excellent 11-4 in their last fifteen games versus a NL West Division rival. Two teams that have been trending to the over will meet when the San Francisco Giants take on the Reds at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, OH on Sunday afternoon. Johnny Cueto (4-1, 4.86 ERA, 1.32 WHIP) will get the start for the Giants and he will be opposed by Scott Feldman (1-3, 4.83 ERA, 1.42 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Reds. Throw in the fact that these two teams have gone 4-1-1 to the over in their last six head to head meetings at Target Field and 7-2-1 to the over in their last ten overall and that's where we'll have our play as we expect both teams to put some runs on the board in what most thing is going to be a pitcher's duel in Minny on Sunday afternoon.

Sunday's Selection ...

For Sunday, Raise The Bar 1500♦ is the Cleveland Cavaliers as the road favorite at Toronto. At 12:30 am eastern time, the Cavs are -7 points in Vegas and offshore.


If there was a chance that Toronto was to make a series of it, that would have happened on Friday night in Game Three, and while the Raptors did stay close into the third quarter, the end result was a 115-94 thumping in front of the home crowd as Kyle Lowry (sprained ankle) watched from the bench.


Lowry is questionable again for this game, but does it really matter?


Cleveland has shown that they are all set to defend their NBA Crown, and King James and Mates are now on a 7-game postseason winning streak - against NO straight up losses - and the Cavs have also covered in each of their last 5 wins.


The Cavaliers dispatched the Pacers in 4 quick games, as that allowed them a full week's rest between the quarterfinals and this semifinals series. Cleveland knows full well that Boston-Washington could go the full 7 games, and a win today would have the Cavaliers resting and recharging for close to a week again. Believe me, rest at this time of the year is valuable, so look for the Cavs who are now 8-1 straight up and 7-2 against the spread the last 9 series meetings to put the stake in Toronto's heart and send them packing for the summer.
