4 Unit Play. Take #902 Washington Nationals -175 over New York Mets (6:05 PM, Monday, July 3)

The Washington Nationals will look for back to back wins after dropping three in a row when they take on the New York Mets at Nationals Park in Washington DC on Monday night. Stephen Strasburg (9-2, 3.51 ERA, 1.10 WHIP) will get the start for the Nationals and he will be opposed by Steven Matz (2-1, 2.67 ERA, 1.07 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Mets. Washington has posted a 13-3 record in Strasburg's last sixteen starts where he went in Game #1 of a series and they have gone an impressive 25-7 in his last 32 home starts where he faced a team with a losing record. The Mets, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 2-5 in their last seven road games versus a team with a winning record at home and they have lost 20 of their last 26 games when facing a team with a winning % of .500 or higher. Throw in the fact that the Nats have won four of the last five head to head meetings between the two teams and we'll lay the price with them here to get the home win in DC on Monday night.

4 Unit Play. Take #912 Texas Rangers +105 over Boston Red Sox (8:05 PM, Monday, July 3)

The Texas Rangers will look to get things back on track after losing four of their last five games when they take on the Boston Red Sox at Globe Life Park in Arlington, TX on Monday night. Martin Perez (4-6, 4.70 ERA, 1.65 WHIP) will get the start for the Rangers and he will be opposed by Rick Porcello (4-10, 5.06 ERA, 1.51 WHIP), who is expected to get the call on the hill for the Red Sox. The Rangers have posted a 5-1 record in their last six home games following a road trip of seven days or more and they have gone an excellent 8-3 in their last eleven games following a loss. The Red Sox, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 2-5 in Porcello's last seven starts and they have lost his last seven starts following a game where the team allowed two runs or less. Throw in the fact that the Rangers have won five of the last six head to head meetings between the two teams at Globe Life and we'll take them at the small underdog price to get the road win in Arlington on Monday night.

Two teams that have been trending to the under will meet when the Chicago White Sox hit the road to take on the A's at the Oakland Alameda Coliseum in Oakland, CA on Monday night. Carlos Rodon (0-1, 0.00 ERA, 1.60 WHIP) will get the start for the White Sox and he will be opposed by Jharel Cotton (5-7, 5.02 ERA, 1.38 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the A's. Chicago has posted a perfect 5-0 record to the under in their last five games where they faced a starting pitcher with a WHIP of 1.30 or higher and they have gone an excellent 10-3 to the under in Rodon's last thirteen starts where he faced a team from the AL West. The A's have been an under team as well in the spot they are in here tonight as they have stayed under the number in four of their last five games versus a team with a losing record and they are an impressive 6-2-1 to the under in Cotton's last nine home starts. Throw in the fact that these two teams have gone 7-1 to the under in their last eight head to head meetings and that's where we'll have out play as we are expecting a strong outing from both starting pitchers in Oakland on Monday evening.
