4 Unit Play. Take #907/908 New York Mets vs St Louis Cardinals Over 7.5 (8:15 PM, Friday, July 7)
Two teams that have been trending to the over will meet when the New York Mets hit the road to take on the Cardinals at Busch Stadium in St Louis, MO on Friday night. Jacob deGrom (8-3, 3.55 ERA, 1.22 WHIP) will get the start for the Mets and he will be opposed by Carlos Martinez (6-7, 3.15 ERA, 1.12 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Cardinals. The Mets have posted a 7-1-2 record to the over in their last ten games where they faced a starting pitcher with a WHIP of 1.15 or lower and they have gone an excellent 6-2-1 to the over in their last nine following an off day. They have also gone up and over the number in six of deGrom's last seven road starts and they are an impressive 11-4-2 to the over in their last seventeen versus a team from the NL Central. The Cardinals have been an over team as well in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone 8-3-1 to the over in their last twelve games versus a right-handed starter and they are 9-4-1 to the over in their last fourteen home games. They have also gone over the total in five of their last seven when facing a team with a winning % of .500 or lower and they have that same 5-2 record to the over when Martinez starts against a team from the NL East. Throw in the fact that these two teams are a perfect 4-0 to the over in their last four head to head meetings and that's where we'll have our play as we expect both starting pitchers to struggle a bit in St Louis on Friday night.
These are all your MLB Plays for today. Your next MLB update will be Saturday, July 8, 2017.

Marco D'Angelo PLAY: (921) BALTIMORE -125 (Westgate)
RATING: 4% PLAY
Baltimore let us down last night but we are coming right back with them tonight. Kevin Gausman goes for Baltimore and as we stated when he pitched last Sunday that he finally was rounding into form and he delivered us an easy winner as he tossed 7 innings allowing no runs on just 2 hits and striking out 9. Tonight he will face Minnesota rookie Felix Jorge who in his debut on July 1st was just average going 5 innings allowing 3 runs on 7 hits and only recording 2 strikeouts. I expect Baltimore to get to him tonight. Tonight’s total is 10 and this year when Minnesota is at home and the total is 10 or 10.5 they are just 1-9 losing by an average of 5 runs a game. This is the 5th game of this home stand and Minnesota is just 4-14 this year at home after 4 or more straight home games. This looks like a mismatch to me as my numbers have Baltimore winning 7-4.
