Talk about a fantastic matchup tonight in Las Vegas as two of the best middleweights do battle in the octagon. I'm completely shocked that one of the best MMA athletes in the world Yoel Romero is getting plus money. Romero comes into this fight as the #1 contender in the middleweight division and Romero has won 8-straight fights in the octagon. Robert Whittaker is no pushover and this fight will be entertaining but right now I believe its Yoel Romero time and tonight he will shine and get the 'W' over Whittaker.
4 Unit Play. Take Over 2.5 -125 Rds Valentina Shevchenko vs Amanda Nunes (11:50p.m., Saturday July 8 PPV)
Both Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko fought a little bit over a year ago back at UFC 196 and Nunes won in a 3rd unanimous decision and tonight I see another long fight. Shevchenko has improved since that loss and her defense will keep her in this fight and this fight will see the 3rd round. Shevchenko last 4 fights 3 of them have gone to the 3rd round including her 5th round win over Holly Holm. Nunes likes to finish her fights quickly but tonight this fight goes to the 3rd round and wouldn't shock me to see the champ go down in the late rounds.Comment
