Analysis:
I have done very well over the years picking my spots with Nationals starter tuesday night Edwin Jackson. Jackson is a guy who just never has lived up to his potential. Yes, he did fire a no hitter one night. I was watching that game. I think he threw close to 200 pitches that night, lol. But seriously he is a guy who has a knack for giving up the big hits at the worst possible time. I do think the Angels, who admittedly can be a little sketchy lighting up the scoreboard can get some work done here against Jackson and the Nationals pen. Yes, they picked up Madsen and Doolittle to prop up the pen but that does not sway me here. On the flip side Chavez is not renowned for being a shut down pitcher by his own right. Washington is swinging the bat very well now having dusted off the poor Reds in Cincinnati. Actually there is a trend in play here that spells out the over is 14-4 over 18 ga*mes I will be very surprised if this thing does not go over and without too much drama or chewing of the nails.


Gotta say it guys. If you don't want to hear it then skip on along. Nothing is certain in any sport let along a baseball game in the middle of the dog days of summer. I love the over here, obviously. Not endorsing a play you put half your roll on. Just not how I operate. There will be football games I will give the green light to step it up with. Play this a few points more than a typical triple but don't risk half your roll on any one game. That is just dumb and a proven recipe for disaster. I booked too long.
