Our selection is on the BC Lions
The Lions were hammered last time out by Saskatchewan 41-8. Jonathan Jennings threw four interceptions that day and looked terrible, he will be much better tonight. He had better be because it is Jonathan Jennings bobble head night in BC. This will be Jennings second game back from an injury to his shoulder and the fact that HC Wally Bueno has chose him over Travis Lulay tells us something about where Jennings is for this game. Calgary is coming off their bye week and we believe this might play into an advantage for BC. Calgary along with Edmonton are arguably the two best teams in the CFL right now and because of this, we know the Lions and HC Buono will be prepared tonight. At the time of this writing, the Stampeders are laying 4 1/2 points. We will be more than happy to take the underdog Lions tonight as this game should go right down to the wire. The Lions are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a straight up loss, which just solidifies our selection.
So lets get the job done with the BC Lions.

Our selection is on the St. Louis Cardinals
LISTED PITCHERS: Martinez/Williams
The St. Louis Cardinals won the first game of their four-game series with the Pittsburgh Pirates last night. We believe they will win game number two as well. The starting pitchers for tonight’s game are for the Cardinals RH Carlos Martinez (9-9, 3.56 ERA) and he will face the Pirates RH Trevor Williams (4-4, 4.14 ERA) Martinez has had a solid year for the Cardinals and the last time he pitched in PNC Park he allowed only two runs in seven innings. His mound opponent that night was Williams, and St. Louis pounded Williams for 10 hits but unfortunately left men all over the place and could not score. We remember that game quite well as we had St. Louis and it was a loser. We have two clubs here going in different directions. The Cardinals are 9-3 in their last 12 games and the Pirates have now lost 5 straight. The Pirates bullpen has been brutal of late and that just gives us another advantage tonight. Backing our selection is the fact that the Cardinals are 8-2 in their last 10 games vs. a right-handed starter and the fact that the Pirates are 1-5 in their last 6 vs. National League Central.
So let’s get the job done with the St. Louis Cardinals.
