Our selection is on the Chicago/Cincinnati game over 10 1/2
LISTED PITCHERS: Lackey/Bailey
The Cubs are coming off the three-game sweep of Toronto and they will look to go to Cincinnati to do the same thing as they are fighting for a playoff berth. Starting pitchers for tonight’s game are for the Cubs RH John Lackey (10-9, 4.67 ERA) and he will face the Reds RH Homer Bailey (4-6, 8.44 ERA) Although the total is a little high for when we play overs we believe tonight’s game will be an old-fashioned shootout with lots of runs scored. These two pitchers faced each other in Chicago on August 16th in a 7-6 Cubs victory. Lackey pitched well allowing only one run in six innings. This time he is on the road in Cincinnati and he has been quite a different pitcher on the road. In 12 road starts he is sporting a 4.85 ERA. Earlier this year he came to Cincinnati and allowed seven runs in six innings. As for Bailey he has been just terrible for most starts of this year. In four home starts, he has a 14.33 ERA with a WHIP of 2.572. The Cubs just pounded him for six runs in 5 2/3 innings on the 16th. We see them getting to him early and often tonight.
So let’s get the job done with the Chicago/Cincinnati game over 10 1/2

Our selection is on the Texas/LA Angels game OVER 9 1/2
LISTED PITCHERS: Ross/Nolasco
We will be playing the over tonight and with these two starting pitchers going, as we believe the oddsmaker has come up a little light on the total. The starting pitchers are for the Rangers RH Tyson Ross (3-2, 7.02 ERA) and he will face the Angels RH Ricky Nolasco (6-12, 5.16 ERA) these two pitchers have really struggled this year. Ross has been just terrible on the road as he has a 8.50 ERA with a WHIP of 1.722 in 4 road starts. As for Nolasco, he is sporting a 7.36 ERA with a WHIP of 1.909 in his last 3 starts. He has already faced the Rangers twice this year allowing 13 runs in 6 2/3 innings. We see both offenses have in big nights tonight.
So lets get the job done with the Texas/LA Angels OVER 9 1/2.
