The Atlanta Falcons had an awesome offense last season but it was their young improving defense that pushed them over the top in the 2nd half of the year and got them into the Super Bowl. That defense should only be better this season which should make for lower scoring Falcons games overall. One of the biggest losses that any NFL team had this off-season was Atlanta losing their offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan to San Francisco as the 49ers made the brilliant O.C. their new head coach. His loss will be bigger than most folks realize especially when you consider that he's being replaced by a guy who's never called plays in the NFL before.
The Chicago Bears defense is vastly underrated. The Bears defense led the NFL last year in total combined players games lost due to injury. Most of those guys are back this year and that means a much better Chicago defense overall. On the other side of the football the Bears have one of the weaker offenses in the NFL. They lost their best WR in the preseason to a season ending injury and combine that with their starting center being out of this game also.
