Both teams come in here at 2-0 but somehow the public thinks Atlanta is so much better. Yes they were in the Super Bowl last year and should of won it, but they really haven’t played better than the Lions. The public got to see both of these teams play in National spotlight games last week. On Sunday night Atlanta trashed the Packers for all to see. But here’s the facts first off that was Atlanta’s home opener on Sunday Night Football in their new stadium. Perfect scenario then throw the fact that Green Bay has a bad defense and had multiple injuries during the game. Green Bay has 7 players doubtful today and 3 listed as probable so Atlanta was beating up on a decimated team. Now let’s look at Detroit and even though they led wire to wire people aren’t viewing that win as a good win but rather saying the Giants stunk. Well Detroit had something to do with that. Detroit’s defense has played well both weeks. And let’s not forget that was the Giants home opener and it was on Monday Night Football and Detroit went in there and won. Matthew Stafford got the big contract and is playing his best ball of his career and I believe he became a better QB when Megatron retired as now he spreads the ball around rather than always looking to Megatron first. I love the Lions here as Atlanta is not the same team as last year. They are over rated while the Lions are under rated. Atlanta was life and death with Chicago in week one as the Bears were driving at the end of the game but just fell short in a 6 point loss. My numbers have Detroit Winning by 7.
