7-Unit Play. Take 'Over' 211 Denver at New York (Monday, October 30th at 7:30 p.m.)
Both of the games between these two teams were extremely high scoring last season. 254 points were scored in the matchup in New York while 241 points were scored in the matchup in Denver. Simply put: these two teams scored a lot of points when they played last year and I look for that to be the case again tonight.
These two teams both played last night and their willingness to get back on defense tonight may be hurt by that fact. Both teams have wanted to play fast on many occasions this year and it has been effective. The Knicks pushed it up the court quickly last night in their upset of the Cavs. Denver pushes it up the court effectively most nights with all five players on the court (at most times) being able to handle the ball.
Both teams are lead by European centers that can shoot, pass, and rebound. Porzingis and Jokic are studs in this league and both see the court really well -- especially Jokic. The offenses can run through both of these big guys and still look like a point guard is seeing the court. This sets up many easy baskets. More importantly, they can both shoot and score the basketball.
When the guards on these two teams get hot, the games are always extremely high scoring. Obviously, you can't predict who will be hot on a given night but I do like the matchups tonight. These guys will get out and run which will lead to easy baskets, and that will get their confidence levels up which could lead to hot nights from the floor as well.
I don't know if this will be one of those extremely high scoring nights like last year's two matchups. But, I do like the value of this line as it is 8-12 points lower than my analytics had it coming out as. There is great value in that and I will gladly pound the over tonight.
Take Over
Best of luck -- MikeComment

Monday's Selection ...
For Monday, Top-Rated 1000♦ is the Kansas City Chiefs minus the points. At 7:30 am eastern time, the Chiefs are the -7 point favorites in Vegas and offshore. I do advise buying the half-point down on KC if the line you get is either -7 or -7 1/2 points.
This AFC West rivalry has taken a turn in the Chiefs favor, as Kansas City has responded to a 7-game series losing streak by taking the last 3 series meetings against Denver, both straight up and against the spread. Included is a 33-10 whipping by KC over Denver at Arrowhead Stadium last season.
Go ahead and lay the wood with the Chiefs this Monday night, as Kansas City has had a few extra-days to stew over losing their second in a row in that Thursday night affair at Oakland when they drew a pair of defensive penalties with no time on the clock and that allowed the Raiders to rally for the victory.
Kansas City is still a positive 7-3 against the spread their last 10 when laying the points, while Denver is on a 2-6 spread run their last 8 away games. That includes last week's shutout loss at Los Angeles against the Chargers. Denver's offense has not been able to top 16 points in any of their last 4 games, and with their offense proving a little too unreliable right now, I think it is best to play against the Broncs, and play on the well-rested home favorite tonight.
10-point win and cover for K.C. tonight.Comment
