Team are headed in opposite directions in terms of health. The Chippewas have been bolstered with the return on their John Mackey Watch List TE Tyler Conklin and in his 3 games back he has had 16 receptions for 229 yards and WR Corey Willis who missed 4 games and had 5 catches for 98 yards last game. Central has lost 3 straight in this rivalry, and just because they are MAC schools do not be fooled because this is as fierce as any. The Chips have been road warriors as they have wins at Kansas (as 3 point dogs), at Ohio (as 10.5 point dogs), at Ball St (-3) and went to Boston College and was only outgained by 13 yards as a 10-point underdog. At 7:00 am eastern time, the Chipps are the +3 1/2 point underdogs in Vegas and offshore. I advise buying the half-point up on Central Michigan if your line is anywhere from +2 1/2 to +4 points.


With Western Michigan starting quarterback Jon Wassink now out with a broken collarbone, interested in grabbing the points they are offering with Central Michigan for this mid-week clash at Waldo Stadium.


The Broncos like to play them close, as each of their last 3 games - all in MAC play - have been decided by 3-points or less. The Chippewas comes into this one off a 56-9 road romp past Ball State, and the time before that on the road they beat conference heavy Ohio U, 26-23 as the +10 1/2 point underdog.


Then there is the matter of revenge on Central's side, as they have dropped 3 in a row to Western, and 5 of the last 6 overall to the Broncos.
