This is my Small Conference Game of the Year.
I love San Diego in this one. The Toreros are very underrated and this team is very undervalued right now. I think that this team might be the third-best in the WCC behind Gonzaga and St. Mary's. San Diego went on the road and played St. Mary's tough over the weekend, losing 70-63 as 13-point underdogs. San Diego had the lead at halftime in that game and it was close until the final minutes. But I think that even that loss has given this team confidence. San Diego is 22-8 ATS in their last 30 road games. This team has wins at Grand Canyon, at New Mexico and at Colorado this year. Those are all Top 100 teams. Those are good road wins. Pacific is just 7-10 on the season. They are coming off their biggest win of the season, pulling an upset over BYU on Saturday as a 7-point underdog. I think they will let down. The Tigers are just 2-6 SU in their last eight games though and they are just 7-21 ATS after a win. Pacific lost to that same St. Mary's team by 18 points last week. San Diego is better offensively and defensively and they have revenge after losing two very close games to Pacific last year, falling by three points in both games. I know the Spurs will be without Leonard but I see a big game from LaMarcus Aldridge and the Spurs bench will also be the key to a road victory. The Celtics have been a solid team as of late coming off an ATS loss as they are 11-3-1 ATS in their last 15 games coming off a game in which they didn't cover. The C's on the road is also something you shouldn't worry about as they have coved 16 of their last 23 road games. The 76ers on the other hand are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games versus the Eastern Conference and 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games. Lay the points here as Boston is 5-2 ATS in their last seven trips to Philly.
