6 Unit Play. Take #714 Memphis -2.5 over Los Angeles Lakers (5:35p.m., Monday January 15 TNT)
The Los Angeles Lakers come to the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee riding a 4-game winning streak but the young Lakers could be without some young studs. Both Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram are questionable tonight and even if they play they will not be 100 percent and that is why we like the Grizzlies tonight. Three nights ago the Grizzlies lost to Denver on the road 87-78 but their last home game the Grizzlies beat the Pelicans 105-102. I know its hard to lay points with the Memphis Grizzlies right now but with the Lakers being short-handed tonight I see the Grizzlies taking care of business at home and getting a big home win and home cover. Home team in this series is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings and the Grizzlies are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games.
3 Unit Play. Take #56 Los Angeles -125 over San Jose (4:05p.m., Monday January 15)
I know the San Jose Sharks have dominated the Kings as of late winning 10 out 14 meetings but late this afternoon at Staples Center I see the Kings getting one pass the Sharks at home. The Sharks have been struggling on the road as of late and with the Kings dropping 3-straight home games I see the Kings finally getting a much-needed 'W'. San Jose is 1-6 in their last 7 road games and the Kings are 7-3 when playing on 1-day of rest.
3-Unit Play. Take #715 Golden State (-5.5) over Cleveland (8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 15)
The Cavs just aren't in sync, and the Warriors are going to roll tonight. We typically like to take LeBron and company when he is getting points, but the Warriors are just and will be too much for Cleveland tonight. This line should be considerably higher. Golden State is 20-8 ATS in their last 28 road games against a team with a winning home record of .600 or better while the Cavs are just 6-22-1 ATS in their last 29 home games. Lay the number in this one.
4-Unit Play. Take #717 Sacramento (+11.5) over Oklahoma City (8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 15)
This is the type of game that OKC loses. They are playing against a team that they should roll over, and the line suggests this, but they won't cover this huge line. OKC is just 8-18 ATS in their last 26 games versus the Western Conference and 3-10 ATS in their last 13 home games. Take the number in this one as they are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games versus OKC. Don't be surprised to see Sacramento pull this one out.
