This game features the 26-18 Heat at the 16-29 Nets. Heat have been playing great basketball beating Milwaukee on the road on Wed but I expect a letdown against the bottom feeding Nets as the Heat are prime for a letdown. Take the Nets plus the points here for a 15* winner

3-Unit Play. Take #815 St. Bonaventure (+5.5) over Davidson (7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 19)

I think that this is too many points for Davidson to lay out. This is a game that I could see St. Bonaventure winning outright. The Bonnies are the better team and one of the favorites in the A-10. They are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 Friday games and I think that they will pick up this key road win. I had this spread at 2.0 so I think that St. Bonaventure offers a lot of value. Play the underdog.

3-Unit Play. Take #824 Wisconsin (-4) over Illinois (9 p.m., Friday, Jan. 19)

The Badgers have really been struggling. But they need this win. I think they will get it here and this team is going to be very motivated. The Badgers have one of the best home court advantages in the Big Ten. They are 5-2 at home against teams with a losing road record. The Badgers have dominated this series and they are 17-5 ATS in their last 22 against Illinois. Wisconsin is 5-1 ATS at home in this series and the favorite is 20-6 ATS when these two meet.

3-Unit Play. Take #821 Yale (-2.5) over Brown (8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 19)

Yale is the better team in this game. They are 1-0 in Ivy League play and they should take care of business here on the road against a weak Brown team. Brown is just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 league games and just 2-5 ATS at home. The road team is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings and this line is going up. That tells me where the sharp action is in this one.
