7-Unit Play. Take #009-010 Toronto/Ottawa GAME TOTAL OVER 6 +105 (Saturday, January 20th at 7:00 PM ET) Take Toronto/Ottawa GAME TOTAL OVER as my 7-Unit NHL Smash for Saturday night. This pick falls into one of my top NHL systems and I see a 6-4 type of game tonight. The last 3 games played between these two teams produced an average score of 8.33 goals per game, and the O/U is 7-1 for the Leafs in their last 8 trips to Ottawa. The O/U is 4-1 in the Senators last 5 games overall and they have allowed 4.6 gpg over their last 5 games. The Leafs will get a boost offensively against this Ottawa team that has allowed 42.2 shots on goal per game over their last 5 games. The Leafs have averaged 36.6 shots on goal and they have allowed 36 sog over their last 5 games which is extremely high. The Sens penalty-kill has been terrible with opponents converting 35% against them with the extra-man over their last 5 games and 30.4% against them at home this season. The Senators have averaged 3 gpg at home this season while giving up 4 gpg and the Leafs have averaged 3.3 gpg on the road this season. The Leafs come into this game on a 4-game skid losing each of those games by just 1 goal, so you can expect some high intensity fast paced hockey tonight. Play the OVER as we move to 34-16 my last 50 NHL plays released.
Croy CBB 7-Unit Play. Take #678 UC Santa Barbara -7 over UC Irvine (Saturday, January 20th at 11:59 PM ET)
Take UC Santa Barbara ATS as my 7-Unit CBB Smash for Saturday night. This pick falls into one of my top CBB systems and I have the Gauchos winning this game by 18+ points at home tonight. The Gauchos are the superior team here, and they are also a senior driven team who remember their 17-point road loss to the Anteaters last season. The Gauchos now get to take advantage of a UC-Irvine team who has no seniors in their starting five. The Anteaters also have just two players averaging double digits in scoring per game this season with 12.1 ppg and 11.3 ppg. Meanwhile the Gauchos have 4 players averaging double-digits in scoring per game this season with 21.8 ppg, 16.7 ppg, 11.7 ppg, 10.4 ppg, and 3 of the 4 are seniors. The Gauchos also didn't have senior Marcus Jackson in their games against Pittsburgh or Texas A&M or they would have likely beaten Pitt and made the game against the Aggies more competitive. Jackson has averaged 31.9 minutes per game this season and the Gauchos have lost just 3 games with him in the lineup this season including a 11-point loss at USC, 1-point loss at Cal Poly, and a 1-point loss at Hawaii. The Gauchos are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games overall and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games after covering the spread in their previous game. The Anteaters are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 road games when playing a team with a home win rate above .600, and just 0-7-2 ATS in their last 9 games after a win. The Gauchos have shot 39.8% as a team from beyond the arc at home this season and this senior driven team is 8-0 at home this season winning by an average of 14.5 ppg. Play UC Santa Barbara ATS as we move to 7-0 the last 9 days with my CBB plays.
5-Unit Play #514 Take Utah -1 over LA Clippers (9 p.m. EST, Sat Jan 20)
The Clippers have won six straight but only a couple of those wins were of the quality variety and we think this team's bubble will burst eventually. And we think that will be the case tonight. The Jazz are coming in on a back-to-back after losing to the Knicks at home last night. But this team is young and they are 7-2 ATS in back-to-backs this season so we think that they will be fine here. Utah has Rudy Gobert back and he is their best player and this team was not the same without him. But they have covered in six of the last nine meetings in this series and we like the home team laying the small number here tonight.
6 Unit Play. Take #511 Golden St Warriors -3.5 over Houston Rockets (8:35 PM, Saturday, January 20, ABC)
The Golden St Warriors will look to extend their win streak to five games when they hit the road to take on the Rockets at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX on Saturday night. The Warriors have posted a 7-2 ATS record in their last nine games versus a team from the Southwest Division and they have gone an excellent 20-8 ATS in their last 28 road games where they faced a team with a winning record at home. The Rockets, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 1-5 ATS in their last six games versus a team from the Pacific Division and they are an awful 0-4 ATS off a straight up win by ten points or more. Throw in the fact that the Warriors are a perfect 4-0 ATS in their last four trips to the Toyota Center and that the road team is 5-1 ATS in the last six games between the two teams overall and we're laying the points here with Golden St to get the road win and cover in Houston on Saturday night.
someone run over and put all you have on these, not sure why they would get posted at 6:46pm but I guess some people will do anything to get their post count up!
