Winnipeg beat Vancouver at the Bell MTS Centre in early December 5-1 (covering the puck-line) and the Jets beat the Canucks in Vancouver in early October 4-2 (another puck-line cover) and tonight I see the 3-peat happening in Winnipeg. Vancouver is 2-7 in their last 9 road games and the Jets are 22-4 in their last 26 home games. Also throw in that Winnipeg has won 5-straight games at home against Vancouver

The Lakers finally won a game without Lonzo Ball but it’s easy to win when your opponent (Indiana) makes only 2 of 25 3-point shots. Ball is looked at negatively because of his father but the fact is that Ball is what makes the Lakers go. That not only shows up in Ball’s team best -0.8 plus-minus per 48 minutes number but also in the games he has missed this season. The Lakers are now 1-8 straight up and 2-7 ATS in the games that Ball has missed while being a decent 16-20 straight up and 20-16 ATS when Ball plays. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will also miss this game and he’s also a positive impact player. I’m hoping that Brandon Ingram, who is a negative impact player, plays in this game after sitting out the game on Friday night. But, I see value with the Knicks even if Ingram sits out again, as my ratings favor New York by 5 points in this game. I’ll take New York in a 2-Star Best Bet at -2 points or less. You can play the Knicks for 1-Star up to -3 if Ingram is upgraded to probable for the Lakers (he’s a negative impact player and is currently questionable).
