Strange line here in this game. This will be the 2nd time these two teams have faced. The first game came down to the wire and Purdue escaped with a 1 point victory. Purdue was only favored by 1.5 in that game. Based on that line alone throw in home court this time it should be around 7.5-8. I think the Purdue line inflation is starting to kick in since they are ranked in the Top 5. I dont believe Michigan can win this game, but they do match up well and I like them to keep in the single digits.

This play just missed out on our premium card. The BYU Cougars and the St. Mary's Gaels face off on Wednesday night and in this game the Cougars have the value.
On paper these two teams are very similar, and 8.5 points seems like too much. The Gaels are a good offensive team but in the last two games they have been playing in the 70's.
For the Cougars they have put up at least 82 points in three of the last four games. With this game probably being played in the 70's that should be enough.
The Cougars probably won't win, but they will do enough to keep this close.
Some trends to note. Cougars are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall. Gaels are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games following three or more consecutive road games.

My 1* Free Play Is on the Washington Wizards (8:05 EST).
The Wizards are going to be desperate here as they enter having lost three of their last four, most recently a listless 98-75 setback on the road in Dallas on Monday.
Conversely, the surging home side could easily be caught looking past their lowly non-conference opponent today after winning five straight, most recently a much closer than expected 109-108 victory over the Nets on Tuesday.
Washington averages 106.5 PPG and it concedes 105.3. John Wall averages 19.3 points and 9.2 assists per game, while Bradley Beal adds 23.6 points per contest.
OKC averages 105.4 PPG and it concedes 101.4. Russell Westbrook leads the nightly charge with 24.9 points, 9.6 boards, ten assists and 2.02 steals per game, while Paul George adds 20.9 points, 5.6 boards and 2.11 steals a night.
I’ll point out though that Washington has excelled in this spot for bettors, going 5-0 ATS already this year after a loss by ten points or more and 5-1 ATS in its last six after scoring 85 points or less in its previous contest, while the Thunder have struggled in this position by going just 13-27 ATS as the favorite this season and only 7-13 ATS against teams with winning records.
OKC’s performance against Brooklyn (another non-conference, lesser skilled team) was poor, which doesn’t bode well in facing this hungry Wizards side.
An outright upset? Clearly it’s not out of the question. But in a game which I envision being decided by whichever team has its hands on the ball last, I’m going to recommend grabbing the points.

I'm recommending a play on Michigan plus the points on Thursday. Michigan took both meetings last season and have covered four of the last five meetings, overall, including as a short underdog in a 70-69 home loss to the Boilermakers on January 9. Michigan out-rebounded Purdue and turned the ball over just nine times, but couldn't overcome Purdue's 12 of 21, 57.1 percent night from behind the arc. Purdue shoots well, no doubt about it, but Michigan allows just 5 made 3's per game on the road and you can rest assured John Beilein will have his team ready for their deep perimeter defensive assignments this time. The Boilermakers have won their last three games by an average of more than 28 points per game, but the level of competition increases tonight. The blowout wins, along with Michigan's ugly second half at Nebraska a couple games ago has given us the number we want. We're recommending a play on Michigan plus the points on Thursday. I like the value here with the Roadrunners as a big double-digit dog at Middle Tennessee on Thursday. UTSA snapped a 3-game skid with a win over UTEP last time out and I look for them to carry over that momentum here against one of the top teams in C-USA. Playing a top tier opponent seems to bring out the best in the Roadrunners. UTSA is 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games against a team that's won more than 60% of their games.
I also think this is a tough spot for the Blue Raiders. They suffered their first conference loss on the road to Marshall 63-73 last week, but responded in a big way handing WKU their first conference loss in an upset win as a 5.5-point underdog. This is a big step down in class and that's the perfect storm for a letdown. Take UTSA!

The UNC Wilmington Seahawks last game was a home win over Towson, and they were an eight point underdog in that game. Not only did I bet the Seahawks plus the points, I actually called for the outright win: "Towson won and covered as a 10 point favorite at home versus the Seahawks earlier this season, but they are asked to cover almost as many points here on the road in the rematch. Don't be surprised if the home team wins this game outright." The Seahawks are now 18-4 in their last 22 home games, and they come into tonight's game against James Madison averaging a whopping 80.8 points per game at home this season. The Dukes have lost seven of eight road games this season, and they could be shorthanded in tonight's game. Senior guard Joey McLean is questionable with an ankle injury and has not played in the last five games. The Dukes have won back to back home games, one in overtime and the other by just two points. Heading out on the road isn't going to be easy, especially against a Seahawks team that they have struggled against in the past. The Dukes have failed to cover the spread in seven straight meetings between the two teams.

This has all the markings of a 4-3 type game. These are the No. 2 and No. 3 scoring teams in the NHL after all. So at this price, I'm going to take a shot with the Islanders in what figures to be a wild, shootout type of game where a lot of crazy type things could occur. I understand Las Vegas is no ordinary expansion team. I will say, at this point, they are the best first-year team in NHL history if not all of sports history. But the Golden Knights have proven mortal lately going 3-3 int their last six games. The Islanders are off a 3-2 overtime road loss to Arizona on Monday. Prior to that, however, the Islanders had won three straight away contests beating the Blackhawks, Canadiens and Rangers. The Islanders have scored five or more goals in four of their last seven games. The Islanders also have the confidence of beating the Golden Knights during the first meeting, 6-3, at home on Oct. 30.
