DUCA'S BLING - This horse's last race was at Sam Houston in a race with a class number of 83. Dropping a significant amount in class rating in today's event puts him in a solid position in this event. The fact that this gelding is entered right back into a race so quickly means he's fit and ready. You should ignore that last race at Sam Houston on a sloppy track where he finished off the board. Should do well in this event on a fast track. VICIOUSGRASSHOPPER - His win on Sep 23rd in a $6,250 Claiming race, at 5 furlongs, is a big plus for this gelding. Ran last time around the track against a much better field at Woodbine. The move down the ladder based on class rating points should suit him well.

DOCTOR VALENTINE - Unlikely for this one to make an impact with no success lately in a short distance contest. Somewhat easily forgotten fig last out at Remington Park at 6 furlongs. Don't think this steed will improve too much today. TEXAS FIRE - I find it hard to wager on any mount in a short distance event at 9/2 when he hasn't shown any on the board results in sprints in the last two months. Awfully tough to bet on this questionable contender when he hasn't been showing any indications of eagerness of late. OSIOTTO - This gelding finished outside the top 3 on Dec 30th and wasn't close to victory in the last race either. This gelding notched a speed rating in his last event which probably isn't good enough in today's event.

RAISE YOUR L UP - Changes tracks from last out at Turfway Park to here. Multiple wins at different tracks tell me this horse likes to switch it up, so that's a good sign. Is ranked totally at the top in earnings per start. A dominant try in this event can add to the lifetime total. BLACK SHERRY - I'm expecting this magnificent animal to run a big one this time.

THE X - Could best this group based on the speed rating - 88 - of his last outing. Is a strong contender based on figures earned recently under today's conditions. SELLING OUT - He has posted very good numbers under today's conditions and ought to fare well versus this group of animals. He looks quite good in this slot and I expect will be on the front end or close at the halfway point.

Reason: The Cleveland Cavaliers have been a very strange team. On one hand, you have the team with the third best record in the Eastern conference at 30-22. On the other hand, you have a team that is horrible at covering spreads this year. The Cavs had to play last night at Orlando. They led 43-31 after one quarter and 67-51 at the half. In the second half, the Cavs scored a total of 31 of points and lost 116-98 to the Magic, a blowout loss. There is turmoil on this Cleveland team and they had better fix it before the postseason. Tonight, though, I'm looking at the over. The last five meetings between these teams have gone OVER. The Cavs are also 18-6-2 O/U the last 26 games at home vs a team with a losing road record. Play the OVER.
