7-Unit Play. Take Colorado Avalanche (+100) over San Jose Sharks .
Colorado Avalanche may be a bad road team but they have been dominant at home this season and own a 18-7-1-0 overall record. This will be a great game for the Av's to get back on track after their dismal 6 game road trip where the team went 2-4 over the stretch. San Jose Sharks will be on the tail end of a five game road trip where they are 2-2 so far. But this San Jose team just lost Joe Thornton and I don't think they can win 3 straight games on the road without him. San Jose isn't the best road team by any means this season and have only gone 5-5 over their last ten. The Avalanche are now 8-0 over their last 8 home games and the Sharks are 0-5 verse the Central Division. I also like how the Avalanche tend to bounce back after a poor performance in their last game. The club is 4-1 in their last 5 games following a loss of 3 or more. Colorado is a different team at home and will give the Sharks trouble tonight. Take Colorado at home.
