The Cali-Cartel has a 50 Dime Play on Nebraska at home against Rutgers. The Cornhuskers are -8 12 at overwhelming majority of sportsbooks I've checked as of 9:20 am eastern as I put my site live this morning.

For Saturday, 2000♦ Double-Your-Wager winner is Nebraska as the favorite over Rutgers. At 8:000 am eastern time, the Cornhuskers are -9 points in Vegas and offshore.


Nebraska showed me something by coming up with a road conference win earlier this week at Minnesota, and while the Golden Gophers are injury/suspension depleted, a win at The Barn is never easy. That "W" pushed the Huskers to a solid 18-8 on the year. A closer look at that mark shows a 12-1 straight up in Lincoln, and an almost as good 9-2 home spread mark.


Included in that home ledger? How about double-digit wins and covers over both Iowa and Michigan their last pair of home games, and a narrow one-point setback earlier this year versus Kansas.


As for Rutgers, the Scarlet Knights are winless in 6 road games this season, and a not-much-better 1-5 against the spread in those roadies. The Knights have also lost 6 in a row on the season and 8 of their last 9, including a 60-54 home loss to the same Nebraska team they are facing today on the road no less!


That late January win was Nebraska's 5th both straight up and against the spread the past 6 series meetings against Rutgers since the New Jersey-based team joined the Big Ten.


This one is likely to be double-digits before the break, and then balloon.

Another Conference USA home dog barks loud today.
Last Saturday I went to this conference with my 80 dime winner on UTSA (+71/2) at home beating Western Kentucky 74-63.
Today I jump on the home dog La Tech Bulldogs to continue their solid play.
Winners of 5 of their last 6 SU and 4 of their last 5 ATS and 5 in a row at home, they now welcome in a solid 18-5 ODU team that is just getting by on the highway.
Winners of 6 of their last 8 overall they are a horrific 2-7 ATS last 9 on the road with the only covers versus (5-17 Charlotte) and (10-14) Florida Atlantic.
Their struggles on the road are as follows:
Laying 7 at William/Mary lost 79-77.
Laying 7 1/2 at (10-13) Fairfield they won by 5 in OT.
Laying 15 at (5-19) Rice they won by 7 in OT.
Laying 10 1/2 at (11-14) FIU they won by 10.
Laying 7 at (12-13) Southern Miss won by 5.
Starting with the Bulldogs today, they still have to go to Marshall and WKU dodging a road tilt to 19-5 Middle Tennessee State, who just beat them at home 66-59.have a winning home record the Monarchs are 1-5 ATS last 6.
You can't say that about Louisiana Tech, who is a perfect 6-0 ATS last 6 games versus teams with a road winning PCT greater than .600.
Translation: the Bulldogs play good teams very tough at home.
Like UTSA winning outright last Saturday over WKU, I will be shocked if LA Tech doesn't do the same tonight.

Against teams with a winning straight up record ODU is 0-5 ATS last 5 and if they

have a winning home record the Monarchs are 1-5 ATS last 6.

Lay the points on the road team as they are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings between the two teams. Take the Wiz in this one as they are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 trips to Chicago.
