I'M A LAWMAN - This gelding has been posting some excellent workout times. MISTAKE PRESENT - I think Fair Grounds players know a good thing when they see the jock/trainer duo of Beschizza and Sharp. Their win pct together has been positive. Have to make this gelding a serious competitor; he comes off a solid outing on January 21st. DEMANDS ATTENTION - Combs has this gelding signed up for the perfect race.

STAND AND CHEER - This horse likes to be on the board, but doesn't usually finish on top. Keep out of the top spot. FLATTER THE QUEEN - The finish of fourth in the last affair shows me that this horse may be getting out of condition. Doubtful that the speed rating he notched on January 21st will hold up in this affair. ROCK SHANDY - The speed figure last time around the track doesn't fit very well in this event when I look at the class figure of today's event. Mark this animal as a possibly overvalued contestant.

DREAMS OF APOLLO - Blinkers on should be the difference here. Duenez has recent ROI figs which make this horse a strong wager.

With a formidable 76 average speed fig at the distance, seems well suited for today's competition. WAR READY - Is a definite contender - given the 70 speed figure from his most recent race. Has the appearance of a profitable wager. INDIANA COWBOY - Should be given consideration in this competition if only for the competitive Equibase Speed Figure posted in the last race. Has been racing in the most competitive company of the group lately.

THREE BUTTERFLIES - I'm figuring this mount to run a good race this time. HEY MABEL - Trainer Milosevic moves this horse down in class to face much lower class horses. Look for a strong race given the class advantage.

MAGNETTES - February 20th is the last time we've seen this mare around. Have to be a little bit leery. Had to show me much more than that in the last race. Never made much of an impact. BLUEGRASS GOLD - When looking at today's Equibase class figure, she will have to register a better fig than last time out to compete in this dirt route. NOTHIN BUT A SMILE - This racer just hasn't looked fit recently. One should normally not invest in a horse in the next start after finishing off the board following a extended vacation.
