Still no word on whether Malik Pope will play for the Aztecs after taking part in practice on Monday. The school said they would make a decision sometime today. Pope was in the middle of a FBI probe that claimed that he and 19 others had taken an illegal loan from an agent. Without Pope, the Aztecs will be without their leading scorer (12.7 PPG) who slithered by San Jose State by 12 with him, Saturday.
The Bronco's already own a victory over SDSU and now we're getting a generous four points.

The Bucks have won and covered the last two meetings and we think they have the upper hand here more than this oddsmakers’ line would indicate. Yes, the Wizards have been playing well without John Wall. But that is just a coincidence; this team is not a better squad with Wall missing from the lineup. Milwaukee has won six of nine and their loss last time out was in overtime so we can’t fault them for that. But this team is also playing well. This is a very important game for the playoff picture for the Bucks and we think that they will take advantage of their home-court advantage and score a comfortable win tonight.

In one of the most surprising turn of events this season, the Washington Wizards are actually playing better without John Wall. They then throttled a good 76ers team 109-94 at home. They now will be looking to avenge two straight losses to the Bucks from earlier in January. Home-court advantage has meant nothing in this series as the road team is 4-0 SU & 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings with the road team winning all three meetings this season. The Bucks are 0-4 ATS in their last four home games. Washington is 12-2 ATS in road games against Central Division opponents over the last two seasons. Give me the Wizards.

I'll gladly take a shot here on the Bears laying a short number at home against the Sooners on Tuesday. Oklahoma has been one of the biggest public teams this season because of all the hype and love for freshman Trae Young. It caused them to be extremely overvalued and they are just 2-11 ATS in their last 13 games. The key here is that they come into this game off a win and cover, beating Kansas State 86-77 as a 5-point favorite. Because this is such a big public team, I think the books haven't hesitated inflating the number in favor of the Sooners here against Baylor, creating big time value with the Bears. Baylor not only will be motivated after losing their last two, but they will also be out for revenge from a 96-98 loss in Norman earlier this season. Keep in mind this is a Bears team that had started out February 5-0 with wins at home over Kansas and Texas Tech and road wins over Oklahoma St and Texas. Give me Baylor -3.5!
