SUMMER BUDDHA - If you gander closely, this entrant has some longshot possibilities. Win percentage under similar conditions may be the key for this gelding.

Not likely to improve enough to run a figure close to today's class rating, so put him on the likely underpriced contenders list. JUST WARMIN' UP - No good results for this questionable contender in a short distance race over the last couple months tells me that this gelding is in a difficult situation Recent lessening speed figures of 67/63/58 give an indication that this animal may be going off form. Recorded a quite unimpressive speed fig last out in a $40,000 Maiden Claiming race on February 11th. Unlikely to see an improved performance off of that number.

FIRST AND GOAL - Really have to believe this horse is going to be right there at the finish line. MUSTANG POWER - I figure that today's shorter trip should help this gelding. LET ME LOOSE - This one could be an overlay today at morning odds of 5/1. Finished fourth in last race at Tampa Bay Downs but was close at the finish.

Finished seventh in his most recent performance with a most unsatisfactory speed rating. When I look at today's Equibase class figure, it would take an improved performance to score after that in this group. MANDEL - Doesn't seem inspiring to me after the lack of any sort of closing talent on Feb 10th.

Quinnipiac posted upsets Thurs/Fri after losing seven of last eight regular season games; Bobcats beat Fairfield 75-70 in Nassau Coliseum Jan 27, then lost 102-98 in double OT in rematch at Fairfield Feb 17.
