Tuesday @ 7:00 PM (EST) -- Barclays Center
three for the money is includes here Millionaires—-Wright St —— No Limit ——BYU —— Perfect Play—-Wake Forest The ACC round one is being played in Brooklyn, NY. Wake Forest is up against the Syracuse zone defense but they have what it takes to not only break the zone but to go on to win outright. Wake Forest is 38.2 percent from beyond the arc to rank third in the ACC so they have enough zone busters to win on a neutral court. Turning to Syracuse’s offense is where their Achilles Heel hides. On the season, Syracuse averages 67 points per game (308th), on 42 percent shooting (311st) and 32 percent 3-point shooting (317th). And that includes their pre-conference patsy schedule and 50% of their games played at home. So figure that these stats are even worst than written here. Syracuse is 1-5 ATS last 6 neutral site games. Now the oddsmakers are asking them to win by five points and in a game where we don’t figure them to score 65 points tonight, that’s almost 8% of their total score. Not happening is our motto tonight. They split the regular season with Wake Forest winning at home by six and Syracuse winning by eight. Wake Forest is led by Bryant Crawford (6-3, 200), who averages 17 points, 5 assists and 2 blocks per game. Doral Moore is a 7-1 junior center who averaged a double-double in ACC action. It’s always nice to have two go-to guys on the court. Take the points.

5 Unit Play. Take #526 Charleston -2.5 over Northeastern (7p.m., Tuesday March 6 CBSSN) The Cougars have a huge edge in location as this game is being played in North Charleston. They have already beaten the Huskies twice this season and will make it three in a row come Tuesday night. Charleston is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings against Northeastern.

4 Unit Play. Take #528 Over 142.5 in BYU vs Gonzaga (9p.m., Tuesday March 6 ESPN) This is a must win game for BYU and expect them to play it out for an entire 40 minutes which means they will continue to foul down the stretch if they are behind. Gonzaga has gone over the posted total in their last 5 neutral site games. BYU has gone over the posted total in 7 of their last 8 games.

                          2-Unit Play. Take #519 Pittsburgh (+17) over Notre Dame (2:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 6)
Pittsburgh is a pathetic team. They are one of the worst in major college basketball. This is a young team and Kevin Stallings is trying to rebuild the program. They've blown out a bunch of times this year. But Pitt generally struggles with teams that can overwhelm them, physically. That's not Notre Dame's game. Their game is about execution and making shots. The Irish just beat Pitt by 17 points at home last week. The Irish need to win this game and know they need to make a bit of a run in this tournament. I think that when they get up big in this one they won't be able to help but look ahead to games with Virginia Tech and Duke. Mike Brey will try to limit his starters' minutes in the second half of this blowout and I think that this game is going to get ugly and sloppy and end up with a final score that's a little closer than it should be.

                          1-Unit Play. Take #526 Charleston (-2.5) over Northeastern (7 p.m., Tuesday, March 6)
I've been riding the Cougars all season long and I had tabbed this team as the best in the CAA. No need to back away from them now.

1-Unit Play. Take #534 Idaho State (-2) over Southern Utah (8:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 6)

                          2-Unit Play. Take #545 LIU-Brooklyn (+8) over Wagner (7 p.m., Tuesday, March 6)
These two teams split their regular season meetings and the two games were decided by a combined six points. And last year their two meetings were decided by four and seven points, with one of the games going to overtime. And seven of their last 10 meetings over the last four years have been decided by fewer than eight points. LIU Brooklyn is hot, winning four straight games. In fact, their last loss was to Wagner on Feb. 17. Over the last two months just one team, Bob Morris, has beaten Brooklyn by more than nine points. I think they can find a way to keep this game relatively close in the final five minutes. And as long as they aren't down more than 13 points then that back door should be open.

                          2-Unit Play. Take #547 Stony Brook (+12.5) over Vermont (7 p.m., Tuesday, March 6)
Vermont has won 19 of 20 game sand they are one of the best mid-major teams in the country. But it is tough to beat teams by double-digits in conference tournaments, even if the games are played on campus sites. Vermont beat Stony Brook by 11 and by 9 in the two meetings this season. And they just beat a really bad Maine team by just 15 points. These two teams are both defensive grinders and I think that should this one could end up being a tight, lower-scoring game. I see this one in the 60's again and I think the points will hold up.

2-Unit Play. Take #555 Alabama State (+12.5) over Texas Southern (9 p.m., Tuesday, March 6)
I know that Texas Southern is better than its record suggests. But it is still a little much to expect a 12-19 team to blow out a conference opponent in the league tournament. Alabama Stat is really bad. However, if you look at their losses they don't get blown out as much as you would think that they would. In their 18 league games they only lost four games by double-digits. They are 5-4 SU in their last nine and three of their four losses down the stretch were by six or fewer points. I think that they are going to find a way to hang around in this one.

2-Unit Play. Take #557 Alcorn State (+9.5) over Prairie View (9:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 6)
Prairie View is another team with a losing record on the season that is favored by nearly double-digits in their conference tournament game. Again, I know that Alcorn State is absolutely pathetic. But it is just tough to blow out teams in league tournaments. Alcorn State is playing with house money here. They have already lost to Prairie View twice this season, but the losses were by just 12 and 10 points so it is not as if there is some insurmountable gap. Prairie View has won four straight and six of their last seven games. But two of the wins were in overtime and five of the six were by 10 or fewer points. That puts us right around this number. In fact, just five of Prairie View's 18 league games were decided by more than 10 points.

                          1-Unit Play. Take #521 Wake Forest (+4.5) over Syracuse (7 p.m., Tuesday, March 6)

                          1-Unit Play. TEASER: Take #521 Wake Forest (+9.5) over Syracuse (7 p.m.) AND Take #528 Gonzaga (-4.5) over BYU (7 p.m.)

                          1-Unit Play. TEASER: Take #545 LIU-Brooklyn (+13) over Wagner (7 p.m.) AND Take #557 Alcorn State (+14.5) over Prairie View (9:30 p.m.)
                          Carpe diem. Good luck.

7-Unit Play. #517. Take Over 139.5 Georgia Tech vs. Boston College (Tuesday @ 12pm est)
We roll with the Over here for a variety of reasons the least of which is that we think that Tech is going to be an active underdog here and quite possibly could upset Boston College. Remember, Tech is only a 3 point underdog today as you can never really underestimate Josh Pastner and his ability to coach at the moment. This is a team that closed out the final 2 games of the year with a win over NC State and Wake Forrest. This team dropped 78 on NC State, 67 on Clemson, 54 on Virginia (hard to do that against the #1 defense in the nation, see what PIttsburgh did with 37 points) and 69 against Duke. This team lost to Boston College in overtime earlier this year and this line is not indicative of how well Georgia Tech is shooting the ball right now on the road and their recent offensive success. Remember, BC does well via the offensive end as they are top 60 in the nation in offense, come off a loss to FSU and they likely bounce-back offensively and a team that has given up 84, 82, 79, 70 (to Syracuse which is not that good) and 85 points of late. And, this is a team that also dropped 85 on Syracuse which is very impressive. Let's roll with the Over here with a BC team focused on offense, not so much on defense and Georgia Tech being an active underdog and their offense is being undervalued here away from home and consequently we like this game going over the posted total today.

3-Unit Play. #518 Take Boston College (-3) over Georgia Tech (12 p.m., Tuesday, March 6)
This is a very modest line all things considered. BC has been by far the superior of these two teams throughout the whole year. I don't see it being different here. Ky Bowman helps the Eagles get a win here to keep playing.

3-Unit Play. #529 Take Montana State (+1) over North Dakota (3 p.m., Tuesday, March 6)

I don't think the right team is favored. Montana State is better to me. They have arguably the best player in the Big Sky with Tyler Hall. They also finished ahead of UND in the conference standings, albeit not by much. The first meeting was a double digit win forthe Bobcats. The second was a one-point loss. The former will be closer to this outcome. Montana State here.

3-Unit Play. #534 Take Idaho State (-2) over Southern Utah (8:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 6)

Idaho State is the stronger overall team. The Bengals have five players scoring in double digits this year. Southern Utah finished the regular season with five of six losses, and I don't see them being able to produce the same offensive output here. Lay the points with the favorite in this one.
