4 Unit Play. Take #545 Under 155 St. Bonaventure vs UCLA (9:10p.m., Tuesday March 13 TRUTV)
Tonight at Dayton, Ohio the St. Bonaventure Bonnies look to upset the UCLA Bruins and if they want to pull off the win they will need to play outstanding team defense. The Bonnies defense held opponents to UNDER 71ppg all season and the Bruins could have trouble scoring tonight. The Bruins last 3 games 2 of them have gone UNDER the total and Bruins as well can play outstanding team defense. I really thought the oddsmaker would have made this total around 147-149 so getting 155 I believe is way to high and I see a very tight game from the start. St. Bonaventure is 1-5 O/U against non-conference opponents and again if the Bonnies want to stay around in this game they will need to play outstanding team defense.

The Middle Tennessee St Blue Raiders come into this NIT Tournament very pissed off for not making the 'Big Dance' and I feel bad for the Vermont kids tonight. We pretty much all knew that the America East Conference was only getting one team so Vermont had no surprises on Sunday but for the Blue Raiders they will have a chip on their shoulders and in the second half they will pull away from Catamounts. Vermont is 0-4 ATS following a SU loss and the Blue Raiders are 20-8 ATS at home

6 Unit Play. Take #534 New Orleans -5 over Charlotte (8:05p.m., Tuesday March 13)
Last night this overnight number came out New Orleans -3.5 and I knew this number would move to 5 or 6 and which it did and I still believe we are getting great value with New Orleans. The Charlotte Hornets are not a good basketball team right now especially on the road as they have lost 3-straight road games. The Hornets have dropped 5 out 6 coming into this game and that one win was against the Phoenix Suns at home. The Pelicans come into this home game dropping back-to-back home games but the Pels have won 8 out 10 and tonight I see the Pels getting a much needed home 'W'. The Pelicans right now are 5th in the Western Conference but only 1.5 games out of making the playoffs and tonight with the Clippers and Jazz playing some cupcake games the Pels need a big win to stay in the playoff hunt. The Charlotte Hornets are 0-8 ATS against Western Conference teams and the Pelicans are 9-3ATS in their last 12 games. The home team in this series is 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 meeting and the Pelicans are also 11-2 ATS at home against the Hornets

Take St Bonaventure ATS as my 4-Unit CBB Smash for Tuesday night. This pick falls into one of my top CBB systems and I would not be shocked to see the Bonnies win this game outright. The Bonnies have the recipe for a sleeper team in this tournament as they have shot 40.1% as a team from beyond the arc on the road this season and they are a very good free-throw shooting team knocking down 75.4% from the line this season. The Bonnies have also averaged 80.4 ppg over their last 5 games and they do not turn the ball over very often. UCLA should not even be in this tournament and they are just 4-9 ATS in their last 13 non-conference games. Play St Bonaventure ATS as we move to 6-2 the last 10 days with my CBB plays.

7-Unit Play. #561. Take Over 158.5 Rider vs. Oregon (Tuesday @ 10pm est)

Let's pick up our 4th straight College Ball Winner, improve on our 8-0 Run in all sports for +$3200, improve on the 2nd Half NBA: 14-6 Run and 8-1 NHL Run - and the Perfect 6-0 Soccer Run. This is going to be the best summer ever for us as we are about to win all 5 sports this current spring and we are aiming for +$6000 in the 2nd half for all of them. Join us for everything. The line keeps dropping and we are not too concerned frankly as we are going against the public here. There is a reason why this total is set as high as it is and that is because Rider is going to show up today on the road at Oregon. This is a Rider team that is top 100 in offense and they love to run. Look at the Xavier game earlier this year with the final of 75-101 or the Providence game where they lost 84-88 on the road or beating Penn State 71-70 who is a top 25 defense. Oregon is ranked around the top 100 in defense. This is an exciting day for Rider, they will get up for this team, they have faced elite teams like Xavier and scored 75 points on them, they like to run, they scored just 55 points against St. Peters in their last game getting bounced from their conference tourney way too soon Oregon is a top 80 offense who scored just 54 points against USC in their last game so they too have great motivation and with a pair of young guards here look for a very up and down and exciting game as this game likely goes over the posted total this evening as Rider will be an active underdog and push the pace of this game likely over.



4-Unit Play. #541. Take Denver Nuggets -2 over LA Lakers (Tuesday @ 10:35pm est)

We roll with the Nuggets here in a nice spot as don't think for a second the Nuggets won't put their full force of effort here. The last time they were in LA they were forced to see Mike Malone and Jokic get ejected on a questionable referee call as they should have never been ejected in the 2nd quarter. With the Lakers coming off a monumental win and emotional high defeating the Cavs, it will be hard for them to get up for this game despite having revenge. With the Spurs struggling, the Nuggets in the playoffs at this very moment it is hard to see them not get motivated and keep winning here as they desperately need this game with a shorter 2nd half schedule on deck as they continue to rise and move up. Let's roll with the Nuggets here to get it done as they have all the motivation in the world and the Lakers are on a let down.

Indiana Pacers @ Philadelphia 76ers
The 76ers got a much needed win in Brooklyn last time out but will be in for a very different style of game when they play host to Indiana.
The Pacers have quietly worked their way back up to the top four in the Eastern Conference and that’s been thanks to the defensive efficiency executed by Nate McMillan’s team.
Indiana have won five of their last six overall and have held their opponents to just 95.8 points per game during that stretch. The focus has been on limiting fast break opportunities for opposing teams while taking away the perimeter and challenging teams to make tough shots in the lane.
The 76ers know they’ll need to push the tempo to suit their style of play and the questions is whether they can manage that against a team that controls the games very well. We’ve seen Philly struggle to impose their will against teams like Miami and Washington, who were successful in turning the game into a half court game and limiting easy buckets for the 76ers.
The Pacers have unsurprisingly seen their last eight straight road games stay Under the points total when playing teams with a winning record and that’s because of a very deliberate set-up to try and limit their turnovers and prevent fast break opportunities.
This team trusts itself in the half-court and they’ll certainly do so against a young Philadelphia line-up that hasn’t shown its ability to win in what we consider “playoff style basketball”.
The Users is also 8-0 in Indiana’s last eight straight games against Eastern Conference opponents and we don’t see that trend being broken here. Our projections show this one totalling 205.4 points giving us good value on the total.

Charlotte Hornets @ New Orleans Pelicans
Charlotte’s chances at snatching a playoff spot in the East are all but over and the team will look to focus on preparing for the future.
Despite snapping a five-game skid with a win against the Suns last time out there’s very little to suggest they can do any damage on the road – especially against a playoff hungry New Orleans outfit.
The Pelicans are hoping to bounce back from back-to-back losses in this one and should feel confidence knowing how poorly their opponents travel.
The Hornets have lost their last three straight on the road, allowing an average of 115.6 points per game in that stretch. That doesn’t bode well when you’ve fastest teams in the league.
In their last 10 games, the Pelicans have averaged 118.9 points per game – a number we’re expecting them to best against this Hornets team. Steve Clifford has made numerous admissions throughout the season that his team has a long way to go defensively and their reliance on their offence is too great for them to be a genuine top eight team in the East.
The on-court match ups certainly favour the Pelicans as well in this one, and we should see another huge game from Anthony Davis on both sides of the court.
This number has moved only slightly since opening at 4.5 and given the large support for the Pelicans we have it closing at around -5.5. We’re getting great value for a team that could easily win big and with our data giving us a 9.8 point differential in favour of New Orleans we’ll comfortably side with the home team here.
