7-Unit Play. #646 Take Canisius (-4.5) over Jacksonville State (7 p.m., Wednesday, March 14) The Golden Griffins, despite failing to make the NCAA Tournament, have to consider themselves as good a favorite as anyone to win the CBI. Canisius finished the regular season with 21 wins. They were tied for first with Rider atop the MAAC at 15-3 in the league. Jacksonville State finished in fourth in the lesser OVC at 11-7 in league play, and overall comes in just 3-4 their last seven games. Canisius is 8-2 since the start of February. They host this game and are 11-2 in their own gym, averaging 81.8 points per game in Buffalo. JSU is 7-7 this year in true road games, scoring just 67.6 points on the road. Canisius has the best two players in this game in Jermaine Crumpton and Isaiah Reese. These two are combining for 34 points a game, and at home they'll show to be too much for their opponents. Since February, over their last eight wins, Canisius has outscored opponents by an average of nearly 15 points. Here they are motivated and notch their first postseason win towards a run in this tournament. Golden Griffins by 12. Best of Luck - Strike Point Sports
