In the nightcap of the West Regional, this total has slid from 155 to 154. I concur with this as in Florida State's past six contests outside of Tallahassee they are averaging exactly 70 PPG. Though Gonzaga averages over 80 points home or away, they are permitting just 67.9 PPG on the season (albeit, versus lesser competition). Plus, the Zags are 11-2 UNDER when the total is 150 to 159.5 the last two seasons.

While this is the second of back-to-backs for Philadelphia, they didn't have to exert a lot of energy last night after building a 30 point lead through three quarters in their 119-105 home win over Memphis. They'll aim for their 5th straight head-to-head cover over the Magic, along with their 5th win in six meetings in Orlando. The Magic have won just one of their last seven games, scoring 88 points or less in five of those games. The Magic have been no match for Philly's offensive attack in this season's two meetings, allowing 116 and 130 points in the Sixers 11 and 19 point wins. I'll take my chances here with the UNDER. Utah comes in off a surprising 94-99 home loss to the Hawks as a 13.5-point favorite. While the defeat snapped a 9-game winning streak, the Jazz continued their excellent run on the defensive side of the ball. Utah has allowed 100 or fewer points in 9 straight and 17 of their last 18 overall. While Dallas has scored 105 or more in 4 straight, this not a great offensive team. I think we get a max effort here defensively from Utah off that embarrassing performance and that should have this game finishing well under the mark. UNDER is now 8-1 in the Jazz's last 9 games vs a team that's won fewer than 40% of their games and 8-1 in their last 9 off a game where they failed to cover. UNDER is also 21-10 in the Mavs last 31 home games off 2 or more losses. Give me the UNDER 199!

Florida State vs Gonzaga Free Pick March 22, 2018

The Bulldogs will be a six point favorite in their Sweet 16 matchup versus Florida State, and I like the underdog in this spot. Gonzaga just barely avoided a first round upset against UNC Greensboro, winning by a score of 68-64. They trailed by five points in the final six minutes of their second round game against Ohio State, but rallied to win 90-84. The Seminoles resume in the tournament so far is significantly more impressive. They crushed Missouri by double digits in the first round, and went on to upset #1 seed Xavier in their second round matchup. BPI favors the Bulldogs, but don't be fooled by their impressive stats. They racked up a lot of wins, and scored a lot of points against the minnows of the West Coast Conference. Gonzaga has been one of the most overrated teams in the country over the last decade, and that is evidenced by the fact that they are 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 NCAA Tournament games. They have also failed to cover in five straight against teams from the ACC. I'll take the points with a red hot Florida State team.
